一、教材分析
本单元是第8模块第二单元，相对于第一单元，第二单元几乎没有生单词，课文内容是第1单元的延伸，主要是玲玲写信告诉大明，在英国的学校生活，以及玲玲在学校发生的事情，让我们了解中西方校园生活习惯，初步了解英语书信的格式。本模块主要句型 Yesterday I went to Sam and Amy’s school. The bell rang at nine o’clock. They don’t start school at eight o’clock. They don’t do morning exercises here.
二、学情分析
五年级学生已经掌握了一定的语音、词汇、语法、话题表达等英语基础知识，具备了一定的听、说、读、写能力，形成了一定的综合语言运用能力。在本模块的上一单元学生已经了解时间的表达方式，知道Amy所在英国学校的学校生活，本单元继续巩固这一文化差别，初步学习英文书信的格式。
三、教学目标
知识与技能目标：
学生能听懂、读、会说句型yesterday I went to Sam and Amy’s school.
能理解句型：I skipped with girls.
The bell rang at nine o’clock. We went into the classroom.
2、：学生能理解、认读、运用单词：always
能理解单词：bell. rang(ring的过去式)
感知“sun”中的“s”与“rice”中的“c”的读音，“zoo”中的“z”与“nose”中 的“s”的读音，“this”与“mother”中的“th”的读音，“shoe”与“fish”中的“sh” 的读音，“red”与“robot”中的“r”的读音，“house”与“head”中的“h”的读音。
能力目标：能够说明自己或者他人的作息时间，用所学描述学校日常。
情感目标：1、感受中西两国不同的校园生活习惯，培养学生的跨文化意识。
培养学生学会增进友谊。
四、教学重、难点
重点:学生能结合第8模块第1单元和第2单元描述学校生活。
难点：学生能正确发音rang 这个单词

六、教学步骤

Step1 Warm up Activity1GreetingsActivity 2Team competition Activity 3Sing a song 说明本节课的规则，全班分成四大组，进行PK。活跃课堂气氛的同时，引入正题，让学生以最快速度融入英语课堂中。
Step2Lead in Activity 1Review（火眼金睛）Say the words as quickly as you can.Activity2I can review.Can you talk about the three pictures.(学生根据第一单元所学自由发言,师根据学生的发言，课件呈现上节课所学知识点。) 把第8模块第1单元的重要的单词和短语以火眼金睛的方式呈现，学生快速地读出来，以此来复习旧知。在复习第一单元课文的同时，自然过渡我们的新课。
Step3Presentation Activity 1Listen ,chant and fill.We know Amy walks to school , and play in the playground, now let’s listen a chant about Amy, then fill . Activity 2Listen and answer. We know Lingling is in England, she is very miss Daming, so she write a letter to Daming . Now let’s look at the letter together. Then answer a question.Where did Lingling go yesterday？ Activity 3Answer the questions.（课文part3）1.What time do children start school in the UK They start school at nine o’clock .2.What do children do in the playground They play in the playground .3.What did Lingling do with the girls She skipped with the girls.Activity 4Listen and readActivity 5初步认识信的格式Activity 6Listen and judge True or False. 以填空的的形式，完成对chant的学习，学习新单词always。带着问题听读第1遍课文，在学生初步感知课文之前，提出简单的问题，让学生带着问题有目的的观看，初识课文。第2遍带着问题看听视频，分层次的理解课文， 教授新单词bell和 rang。跟读课文，感受原汁原味的英语语音语调。感受中西方国家写信的不同格式，了解文化差异。以判断对错的方式，再次对本课的学习进行巩固。
