语篇研读
What: 本课语篇主要介绍了英语的重要性。
Why: 本文通过刘老师在报纸上发现的一篇文章,向我们展示了英语的重要性,提高了学生学习英语的兴趣,坚定了学生学习英语的信心。
How: 本文是摘自报纸上的一篇文章,先是刘老师在报纸上发现一篇文章,引出全文,之后分别从工作、生活、旅行、学习等方面介绍了英语的重要作用,最后表明英语向我们打开了世界的大门。
教学过程
设计理念:以《英语课程标准》核心素养为导向,以单元主题为引领,基于语篇的育人理念,体现《英语课程标准》“学思用创”的英语学习活动观和“教—学—评”一体化设计理念。

Activity 2: Fast Reading 通过对文章进行整体阅读,整体感知文章的主题,为正式阅读做铺垫 Read and answer the question: What opens a door to the world according to the passage 教师观察学生是否能够通过快速阅读来理解文章的整体结构及主题
设计意图 围绕英语的重要性这一主题,使用扫读策略获取文章主旨大意,同时梳理文本结构【应用实践】
Activity 3: Careful reading 通过细节阅读,学生对文本内容进行深度解析 Read the passage and write T for true or F for false. 1. All over the world, all the people are learning English. 2. With a good knowledge of English, students can have bright futures. 3. English helps you communicate with people from different countries. 4. Learning a new language is very easy. 5. English connects you with the world. 观察学生是否能够准确获取并理解文章的细节,是否能够在有限的时间内完成相关任务,同时要关注是否能够培养学生的语言应用能力
