Give some introduction . The water isn’t clear as before. The fish can’t live in the water. The children can’t play in the river. We can’t drink the water any longer. Read options to know their emphasis, then read the passage fast to get the main idea and choose the right title.Check answers and explain the reason. (Key words:childhood、 environment、 call on、 the fish ) 2.Read and complete. Ask students to read the first two paragraphs , compare the changes 50years ago and now,then to fill in the table.Read the article carefully the understand the writer’s opinion and why the write wants to call on the people to protect the environment. In the past:get water ,drink water ,touch fish and catch fish. Now: dry up,no fish 3.Read and decide. Read carefully to decide the sentence true or false, and correct the wrong information with a proper reason. Ask some students to show their answers and explain the reason. Find the key information or sentence to support the option of the title. Exchange their ideas. (The title,the first and last sentence in each paragraph.) Ask student to read the first two paragraphs and fill in the table.Know the reason why the writer calls on the people to protect the environment. 3.Read carefully to find the detailed information to support each sentence in groups,then give answer and check together in the class. 快读提炼信息,找出支持标题的语句,培养学生思维能力. 查读课文,查找所缺信息,培养学生提取信息的能力。同时掌握作者呼吁人们保护环境的原因,激起学生的环保意识。 细读课文,判断课文细节对错,培养学生的观察能力,认识水污染对我们生活的影响,感知环境变坏的后果,增强学生的环保意识。Step 3: Reading article learning Language points analysis. 1.Analyze the important words and phrases about technological innovation :heal,straight,stream,protect,involve,restore,dry up,at the same time, 2.It was not until now that I realized the importance of protecting the environment. Understand the important language points and take notes. 分析重点词汇,短语及长难句,使学生掌握50年环境变化的英语表达,呼吁人们绿色环保,为之后的倡议书输出做准备。呼吁学生日常生活中要绿色,环保,低碳,并影响更多的人保护环境。Step 4: Writing 1.Read and classify. 1)Read the phrases and classify which they belong to,purpose,problems or actions. 2)Share answers in groups. 3)Teacher gives some advice and encourage the students to have a positive attitude towards the innovations. 2.Read and complete. 1)Read the given information and know what they should write . 2)Finish the proposal according to the information in task 12. 3)Ask two students to show their works on the screen.Teacher gives some advice and corrects mistakes. Read the phrases classify them ,and grasp the expressions about the problems ,purposes and actions. The students can add some actions and problems according to own experiences. Read and prepare for the writing by the information classified in task 12.Then write by themselves.
