Unit 1 Art
Using language: Ancient Chinese art on show
Good morning, dear judges. It’s my great honor to be here to present my teaching design.
The content of my lesson is Senior English required elective course Book 3 Unit 1 Using language: Ancient Chinese art on show
To begin with, I will introduce my basic teaching elements from the following perspectives.

The theme of this lesson and this unit is "art". Through the study of this unit, students should
enhance the interest and appreciation of art, as well as the ability to communicate across cultures with art as the theme.
Specifically in this lesson, students should think deeply about how to better understand the traditional Chinese art value, and how to promote Chinese traditional art to the world. This article is about ancient China. The promotion of art exhibitions belongs to the applied style. It introduces the reader to the exhibition. The theme, which focuses on the classic exhibits of the exhibition, explains the meaning of the art exhibition, is provided some other important information about the exhibition.

To achieve the teaching objectives, there are three teaching methods used in this lesson. They are situational teaching method, task-based language teaching method and communicative teaching method. As for the learning method, students will be encouraged to adopt cooperative learning method to enhance their cooperative awareness.

The Richfield Museum of Fine Art is proud to present our new exhibition，“From Shang 1.to Qing：Chinese Art Through the Ages.” From bronze bowls to ceramic vases，and jade sculptures to ink wash paintings，our goal is 2.to display (display) the Chinese artistic genius from ancient times.
