教材分析 本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材,《英语2 基础模块》中第四单元的热身(Warming Up)和听说(Listening and Speaking)板块,热身环节激活学生已有的志愿者活动的知识储备,听力活动进行一次志愿者活动的讨论,口语表达是志愿者招募的活动。通过任务型教学,激发学生学习兴趣,利用图片和已知信息,锻炼和提升学生提取所需信息的能力,培养学生在志愿者招募情境下的语言交互能力。
学情分析 学生大多已参加过一些志愿者活动,如交通安全小卫士,敬老院献爱心,防疫期间工作宣传等,亲身经历更能理解志愿者工作的意义。但对于如何用英语去表达各项活动,自身在选择志愿者活动时如何介绍自己的优势和爱好,以及如何招募参志愿者等的语言储备有限,通过本节内容的学习,学生可掌握相关的词汇和语句表达,同时实景练习提升语言的交互能力,增强志愿活动意识。
学习目标 Knowledge objectives: To learn words and phrases about volunteer work:volunteer 、pick up、take part in、a rural elementary school、major in、graduate、elementary Education、gain、teaching experience、information technology. To be able to use these sentences skillfully: I’d like to be a volunteer at.../Please introduce yourself./I major in ...and I’ll graduate./I hope to help ...and ..../Have you ever done volunteer work before /What can you help with at ...?/I’m good at ...I can.../How long do you plan to stay there /We’ll consider your application and inform you of the result soon! Ability objectives: To be able to talk about volunteer work and own feelings. To be able to choose proper ways to communicate with volunteers. Emotional objectives: To know the importance of volunteer work. To know different people fit for different volunteer work.
学习重难点 1)To skillfully master the words and sentences about how to describe personal information . 2)To communicate with the volunteers.

Step 1: Lead in Play the video to get the information :what the volunteers did during the COVID-19. Talk about the question:what kinds of volunteer work have you experienced Pay attention to the pictures to get all the jobs which the volunteers did during the COVID-19 while listening to the music. Get the jobs they have done as a volunteer before. 带上问题欣赏音乐,通过视频和歌曲,找出疫情期间的志愿者们都做了什么?真实经历更能激发学习。 讨论自身经历,例举志愿者活动,激发自我体验感。
Step 2: Warming up Think and match Match the pictures with right phrases. Match and talk Use the phrases and sentences to make own dialogue in pairs ,and describe what kind of volunteer work you want to do, you want to volunteer for ... because you are good at ...Then ask some groups to act it out in front of the class. Students learn the right expressions about the volunteer work. 2.Act the dialogue to grasp the sentences and phrases,and master the different volunteer work and different people fit for different volunteer work. 热身环节让学生关联已有的知识储备,熟悉志愿者活动的相关表达. 谈论自己具有的能力和爱好,为想参加的志愿者活动提供充足的原因,锻炼学生的思维能力,灵活运用已有的志愿者相关的语言储备。
Step 3: Listening Listen and choose. Look at the pictures and let students predict the content of the listening. Then play the listening. Listen and tick. Before playing the listening, ask students to pay attention to the details,and decide if the sentence is right.At last correct the wrong sentences. Listen and complete. Before listening, let students read Lily’s diary first and know what they should get while listening .Then play the listening to get the key information to fill in the blanks and check their answers. 1.listen the first time to grasp the overall of the listening material. 2..Read the options carefully,then listen to the second time and determine which volunteer work there were in the dialogue. 3. Summarize and capture key information to complete the checklist . 看图中地点,听录音注意相关的词汇,侧重把握对话的主题。 理解短语的基础上再听录音,注重理解对话的相关细节,并进行选择判断。 利用补全重点信息的任务,培养学生提取所需信息的能力。
Step 4: Dialogue learning Listen、read and underline. listen the recording. Read the dialogue after the recording to underline the sentences. Then check the answers. Language points analysis. Analyze the important words and phrases of the dialogue:volunteer 、pick up、take part in、a rural elementary school、major in、graduate、elementary Education、gain、teaching experience、information technology. Listen the recording and follow the recording and finish the task. Understand the important language points and take notes. 通过听录音,跟读和完成任务。掌握谈论招募活动的表达方式。培养学生的语言沟通能力。 分析重点词汇和表达,使学生掌握志愿者相关的更多的语言表达。夯实重点,为之后的口语输出做准备。
Step 5: Speaking 1.Imitate and practice. 1)Read the useful phrases together:be careful and good at communication、hope to make our city cleaner、help sort the garbage、be patient and have some medical knowledge、 make their lives more convenient、do housekeeping in an aged community 2)Make own dialogue using the information above,then act it out in front of the class. 3)Teacher gives some advice and corrects mistakes. 2.Role play. 1) Recruit volunteers according to the Sea Protection Club’ poster . 2)Make own dialogue using the information above,then act it out in front of the class. 3)Teacher gives some advice and corrects mistakes. Read the phrases together to have a dialogue in mind. Imitate activity 6 and make up a new dialogue and then practice with partners. Know the poster’s key information and try to own dialogue about how to communicate with the volunteers. 掌握短语,结合上一任务中的对话,在脑中构思对话。 与同伴实际练习,注意语句中的动词形式、对话时的语音语调在实际招募志愿者时的应用,培养学生的学习迁移能力。 设置真实场景,拓展综合性口语表达活动,侧重培养学生在职业情景下的语言交互能力和思维能力,提升学生解决实际问题的能力,增强志愿活动意识。
Step 6: Summary 1.volunteern 志愿者;义务工作者 Eg:The volunteers are in training .志愿人员在受训。 vt. 主动提供;主动说出 Eg:Mary volunteered to answer the teacher 's question .玛丽主动回答老师的提问。 2.pick up pick sth up 捡起来 Eg:Pick up your socks. They’re on the floor. 把你的袜子捡起来,在地板上。 pick up the phone 接电话 Eg:Someone’s calling you. Are you going to pick up 有人在给你打电话,你要接吗? pick sb up 用交通工具接某人 Eg:I’ll pick you up at school.
