教材分析 本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材，《英语2 基础模块》中第一单元的读写（（Reading and writing）板块，要求学生能通过阅读文章，熟悉并掌握介绍人物生平的传记类文章的文体特征及语言特点，
学情分析 通过听说环节，学生已经掌握了基本的房间预定、目的地景点问询、旅游产品推介等方面的表达用语，本节课则用“为什么人们要去旅游”这一思路打开话题，引出徐霞客的生平传记类文章，激发学生学习兴趣，培养思维能力。进而通过不同的任务型阅读，培养学生提炼中心思想、找关键信息、并得出论断的综合阅读能力。最后在充分理解阅读文本的基础上，通过写作中的两大人物对比，拓展学生的文化视野。让学生感知历史名人的伟大魅力以及他们对于人类文明的助推作用,激发学生树立远大的志向，并敢于为之付出努力。

Step 1: Lead in Have a dictation about words and phrases:guide,on-the-way，coach，province,marvelous,dense,vegetation,scenic spot,be famous for,ethnic culture. Check the dialogue they prepare for homework. Remember the last period to lead to the new lesson. 通过复习单词、检查对话的方式导入本节阅读主题，为后面的活动做铺垫。
Step 2: Pre-reading Think and discuss Ask question：“Why do people travel ”“Because I want to ...,” Conclude and write down. Step 3: reading Read and choose. Read the text quickly to get the main idea and choose a proper title of the text.While finishing the task ,students should master the key sentences. Read and complete. Read the text again to fill in the main events on the timeline.Get the experiences of Xuxiake. Choose and talk.
