Read the the ancient article to find the idioms in the story in group.Then sum them up. 小视频故事导入,激发学习兴趣;在原文呈现提示,让学生回忆其中的成语,链接已有的知识储备,为阅读英语语料做准备。Step 2: Reading 1.Read and choose. Read options to know their emphasis, then read the passage fast to get the main idea and choose the right title.Check answers and explain the reason. 2.Read and complete. Ask students to read the text one paragraph by one , analyze each paragraph to fill in the missing information. Read the sentences to master the three periods when Ding got the butcher’s skill. 3.Read and complete. Read carefully to find the reasons why Ding became successful and fill in the form in task 12. Students show their answers and reasons. Repeat the factors contributing to Ding’s success and try to remember them. Find the key information or sentence to support the option of the title. Exchange their ideas.
