教材分析 本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材,《英语2 基础模块》中第一单元的Language Practice板块,要求学生掌握一般过去时的基本用法并对其进行运用,提高语用能力;完成语境中的练习任务,巩固并真正会运用本单元的语言点。
学情分析 一般过去时作为八大时态之一,是初中已经精讲过的语法知识点,本课的人物传记类文章的必用语法。作为本单元的语言练习,在例句选用上对课文内容起到进一步巩固复习的作用,同时也可在学生小组合作的任务型学习中,再次对语法点进行的巩固复习。词语运用的练习也是巩固版本单元的语言点。所以这节课的对提高学生的语用能力作用很大。
学习目标 Knowledge objectives: To master the usage of the simple past tense. To be able to use the language points correctly. Ability objectives: To be able to improve the language skills. Emotional objectives: To understand the tense in English grammar.

Step 1: Lead in 1.Show a timeline to explain the simple tense. 2.Present the eight tenses and the different verb forms in table forms. 1.Review the position of the simple past tense in the timeline . 2.Review the eight tenses and the different verb forms by comparing. 通过时间轴,复习一般过去时态的事件发生时间,更清晰明了;再以表格形式复习初中已掌握的八种时态关系及动词使用形式,进一步清楚一般过去的特点,为后面的学习和练习做足准备。
Step 2: Grammar 1.Read and find. 1)Read the sentences to review the story of Xu Xiake ,and find the verbs’ difference. 2)Review the rules of regular verbs and find some irregular verbs.Then lead to the simple past tense. 2.Read and underline. Review the simple past tense to finish task15.Underline the past tense of verbs and then write the base form of the verbs. 3.Read and complete. Review the temporal adverbial of the simple past tense to finish the task 16. Read and complete. Review the sentence pattern transformation to finish the task 17. 1.Review the simple past tense and practice every important point. 本环节旨在边练、边发现问题,解决问题的同时归纳总结语法知识点。真正做到学生主体,教师主导,任务型教学解决问题中学得好知识。
Step 3: Vocabulary 1.Choose and complete. Review the phrases to finish task18. 2.Read and complete. Review the words to finish task19. Finish the task 18and 19 to review the useful words and phrases ,and review their original sentences in which they appear. 本环节旨在训练学生使用学过得单词和短语完成相应的任务,复习原句的同时又增设了新的使用场景,检测学生语言的输入情况,更进一步检测输出能力。
