教材分析 本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材，《英语2 基础模块》中第一单元的Language Practice板块，要求学生掌握一般过去时的基本用法并对其进行运用，提高语用能力；完成语境中的练习任务，巩固并真正会运用本单元的语言点。
学情分析 一般过去时作为八大时态之一，是初中已经精讲过的语法知识点，本课的人物传记类文章的必用语法。作为本单元的语言练习，在例句选用上对课文内容起到进一步巩固复习的作用，同时也可在学生小组合作的任务型学习中，再次对语法点进行的巩固复习。词语运用的练习也是巩固版本单元的语言点。所以这节课的对提高学生的语用能力作用很大。
学习目标 Knowledge objectives: To master the usage of the simple past tense. To be able to use the language points correctly. Ability objectives: To be able to improve the language skills. Emotional objectives: To understand the tense in English grammar.

Finish the task 18and 19 to review the useful words and phrases ,and review their original sentences in which they appear. 本环节旨在训练学生使用学过得单词和短语完成相应的任务，复习原句的同时又增设了新的使用场景，检测学生语言的输入情况，更进一步检测输出能力。
