资源简介 Unit 1 Can you play the guitar Section A教案(共2课时)第1课时 Section A(1a 2d)教学目标:Let the students have a good command of the vocabularies and basic sentence patterns in this unit.教学重点1.Learn to talk about abilities.2.Master some key words, phrases and sentences in this period.教学难点Learn to use the what questions.教学用具Pictures, a tape recorder, PowerPoint and multimedia.教学过程Step 1 Lead inGreet the students in English.Then let the students sing an English song “Good morning” .Lead in the new words “sing” and “dance” .Step 2 Cooperative inquiry1.Present the PPT and read the sentences in the picture of 1a.Lead out all the new words one by one.Then let the students read the words by themselves for a few minutes.Listen to the tape in 1a carefully and number the short conversations.2.(1)Ask the students to look at the clubs in 1a.T: What are they Ss: They are the art club, English club, chess club, swimming club and music club.T: What club do you want to join Help the students to answer what club they really want to join.(2)Listen again and repeat the conversations sentence by sentence.Lead the students to practice the conversations in pairs.3.Use these pictures and new words to lead out the important sentence structures: Can you… Yes, I can./No, I can't.Ask as many students as possible to talk about their abilities.4.Pair works: Ask students to practice these sentence patterns.5.Let students listen to the conversations and circle the clubs they hear in the box in 2a.6.Listen again and fill in the blanks in 2b, and then ask students to repeat the conversations and imitate the intonation.7.Practice the dialogue in 2d.Get the students to write down the sentences in the dialogue.8.Reporter activitiesDivide the students into several groups, and then ask them to role play the conversation in 2d.Ask some pairs of students to act out their conversations in front of the class.Step 3 Homework1.Write down three things you can do and three things you can't.2.Recite the conversation in 2d.第1课时 Section A(1a 2d)1.Key vocabularies: guitar, sing, swim, dance, draw, chess, speak, join, club, tell, story 2.Key sentences: (1)—What club do you want to join —I want to join the chess club.
