Unit 7 How much are these socks (Period 4)
Section B (2a-2c)
本单元话题是“购物”（Shopping）。本节课是本单元的第四节课，是一节阅读课，主要包括物品与价格配对、阅读广告填价签和补全对话等一系列活动。形成了一个阅读任务链。通过这些阅读活动，促进学生对语篇内容的深入理解以及对本单元目标语言的合理运用，为下一步写作活动做铺垫。
学完这一课，学生能够掌握：
单词及词块：Mr.、clothes、store、buy、sale、sell、all、very、price、clothes store、come and buy、great sale、at very good prices、for boys、skirts in purple、a pair of。
2．句型：
Come and buy your clothes at our great sale!
We sell all our clothes at very good prices.
For girls, we have skirts in purple for only $20.
1．引导学生复习衣物类相关名词；
2．正确运用购物目标语言，理解相关对话。
学生能够正确运用购物目标语言进行对话交流。
新课导入
1．师生用英语打招呼。
T: Good ..., boys and girls.
Ss: Good ..., Mr./Mrs./Miss ...
2．教师带领学生进行数字游戏，复习1~39的英语单词：学生六个一组起立，按顺序每人说出一个数字，每隔三个数字后击掌代替，如轮到说4，8，12的学生击掌，全部都对的学生坐下；出错的学生继续站着，等着下一轮游戏时加入。教师注意让学生加快速度，以提高游戏的趣味性。
T: Stand up and say the numbers one by one and clap after every three numbers: One, two, three, CLAP, five, six, seven, CLAP, nine, ten, eleven, CLAP, … If you are right, sit down please. If you are wrong, keep standing. Wait for the next turn.

教师集中讲授本课时新学词汇，解释新词词形及释义，之后领读，学生齐读。

【教师活动】安排学生根据生活经验将2a表格中的衣物与对应的价格匹配。该活动的答案是开放的，旨在激活学生的背景知识，并为后面的阅读做准备。最后，教师请几个学生说出自己的答案，与全班分享。

Step 4: While-reading
【教师活动】让学生先阅读文章的前两句和最后一句，并猜出文章的文体类型，即促销广告。这几个句子是比较典型的广告用语。

【教师活动】播放2b录音，要求学生模仿、跟读。稍后挑选学生展示。

【教师活动】让学生以店主Mr. Cool的口吻，用夸张的语气朗读文章，然后提炼出广告中用于宣传、促销的表达方式。除了前两句和最后一句比较明显，广告中还大量使用了only，突出了服装价格的低廉。该步骤是语篇阅读的提升，目的是为后面的广告写作做好铺垫。
【学生活动】以店主 Mr. Cool 的口吻，用夸张的语气朗读文章，找出广告中用于宣传和促销的典型表达。
【教师活动】呈现挖空广告让学生填空，引导学生关注文章中介词的使用。教师稍后核对答案。

Step 6: Language points in 2b
【教师活动】让学生分组进行探究发现，由学生列出他们认为本节课的重点知识。教师最后进行整体讲解。
