资源简介 课 题 Unit 4 Corporate Culture (Reading and Writing) 课 型 Reading and Writing 课 时 2授课班级 授课时间 90mins 授课教师教材分析 本课教学内容选自《英语 拓展模块》第四单元“Corporate Culture”读写板块(Reading and Writing)。阅读板块包含四个与企业文化相关的短说明文和一个介绍企业文化的六大相关方面的长说明文。本部分设计了获取语篇关键信息及总结语篇重点内容的学习活动,这些活动不仅可以训练学生获取细节信息与理解语篇内容的能力,还可以帮助学生更深入地了解企业文化内涵,理解企业文化在企业发展中的重要作用。 写作板块内容包含三个活动:商务邀请函、根据邀请函内容完成备忘录的填写、阅读活动备忘录并完成邀请的撰写。三个活动旨在通过层层递进的训练,让学生由阅读了解结构、阅读填写信息,再到根据信息完成写作练习,培养学生思维能力的同时,提升学生阅读与写作能力。学情分析 学生已经掌握描述企业文化及其内容的相关词汇和句型和简单活动邀请函的写作结构和写作要点,具备一定的探究能力,并且能够在教师的指导下,积极主动参与课堂,具备良好的合作沟通能力。但在查找和处理文本信息方面还存在欠缺,在课堂上可以让学生们通过小组合作的方式共同探讨,并且对于某些有些许难度的问题,可以给出一些关键词进行暗示,既培养他们团队合作的意识,又提高他们语言综合运用的能力,让学生们体会到成功的喜悦,学有所获。学生对备忘录语篇的结构和特点还是不太熟悉,因此本节课就是在熟悉备忘录的要求和形式基础上,根据备忘录内容,撰写一封邀请函。学习目标 Knowledge objectives Grasp the vocabulary and sentence patterns about corporate culture,such as vision statements、key values、be fit for build a culture have influence on etc. Apply the useful expressions to explain corporate culture. Ability objectives Be able to understand corporate culture from six aspects; Be able to explain and introduce corporate culture of a Chinese-famous brand; Be able to write a invitation letter and a memo. Q2: What is the corporate culture of the enterprise Watch a video and think the importance of doing an internship. 通过观看视频华为宣传片,学生了解华为的企业文化,为后续的阅读活动做铺垫。Step 2: Pre-reading Read and match: Let students read and underline the key words of the titles, then skim the four texts and match them with their suitable title. Students read and underline the key words of each title,then match. 通过阅读四个短语篇为说明文并匹配标题的学习活动,目的是训练学生快速阅读并通过捕捉关键词理解语篇主旨大意的能力,激活原有语言知识,提升学习兴趣,为后续阅读活动做铺垫。Step 3: While-reading Read and answer Q1: What is the text mainly about Q2: Which aspects are related to corporate culture Read and choose Ask them to read the introduction and choose the answers. Read and complete Ask students to read the introduction again and fill in the blanks of the information form. Language points Analyze the important words and phrases of the text like carry out, household garbage, the amount of, kitchen waste,recyclable waste... Read the text for several times and finish the reading exercises to choose suitable options, finish filling in the blanks about corporate culture summary, understand the important language points and take notes 本部分通过对文章内容的理解,培养学生通过关键词进行信息提取的能力;通过对语篇结构的分析,明确了说明类语篇的写作特点,也促进了逻辑思维推理能力。Step 4: Post-reading (Writing) Read and match Let students skim the business invitation letter and match the name with each part of the letter. Read and complete Ask students to read the letter again and complete the memo form. Read and write. Read the memo, complete the invitation letter of Mr. Carter.
