资源简介 课 题 Unit 5 New Technologies in Everyday Life(Listening and Speaking) 课 型 Listening and Speaking 课 时 2授课班级 授课时间 90mins 授课教师教材分析 本课教学内容选自《英语 拓展模块》第五单元“New Technologies in Everyday Life”听说板块(Listening and Speaking)。本板块内容以生活中的新技术为主题,共有四个短对话和两个长对话听力活动以及两个口头交际活动。要求在讨论技术与生活的语境中,学生能够听懂介绍新技术的对话;熟悉新技术的名称、相关场景以及技术应用的细节信息;能够向同伴介绍在日常生活中科技产品的使用方式;感受科技给生活带来的帮助和改变。学情分析 技术与生活是学生日常生活紧密相关的话题。学生已经了解了少数有关高科技产品的词汇,如smartphone、computer等,但是对新的技术产品相关的内容还不熟悉,缺乏介绍功能的语言和词汇支持,无法对新技术进行介绍。同时受英语知识储备量所限,难以表达主观意愿,英语综合应用能力较弱。通过一系列活动,由易及难,鼓励学生参与各项学习活动,勇于表达,帮助学生了解新技术的基本信息和基本操作方法,向他人介绍新技术。学习目标 Knowledge objective Master the useful expressions about technologies in everyday life. Suggest answer: smart phone,drone, high-speed railway, payment online, 3D printer, smart robot, AI, big data, new energy, VR, driver-less car, Internet of things, sweep robot, smart watch, etc. Think and discuss Ask students the following questions. How do you think about it How does it change your life (Give one example) Students watch the video about the environment. Read the questions and discuss in groups. 通过视频呈现环境,让学生对环境有更好的理解和认识,同时明确我们每个人也是环境的一部分,并为后面学习做铺垫。Step 2: Listening Activity 1: Listen and match Ask students to scan activities to underline the key words, and predict the content of the dialogue. Then play the listening materials. Activity 2: Listen and choose Ask students to scan the questions and options and draw the key words such as what (what, how), adj. (boring, powerful, complicated,easy)nouns (student, worker, manager) and some words about career scene such as general manager, writing reports and memos, install a cellphone, book a meeting room etc. Students actively predict the dialogue content, develop their ability to predict the listening content based on key information known. Activity 3: Listen and complete Ask students to scan the information in the service record of dream journey and fill in the blanks. Guide the students to draw the key information in the table. Then play the recording. Finish the listening activities “Listen and match, Listen and choose and Listen and complete” in the textbook. 本部分以日常工作生活中的新科技为主要话题,通过信息匹配、选择、填空等题型的听力对话内容,为学生创设话题情境。在熟悉话题的基础上,提升学生根据已知信息获取关键信息的能力,引导学生感知新技术为生活带来的变化,探索其积极意义,激发学生的对新事物的探索精神。Step 3: Dialogue learning Activity 4 Read and choose Read and draw the key words of the options, then deduce the answers according to the logical relationship, and complete the dialogue sentence by mon methods include: regular response, synonym substitution(同义词替换), keyword repetition and so on.. Listen and underline Listen the dialogue about a unmanned shopping mall and underline the sentences about . Then check the answers. Language points Teach the important points of the recording such as scan this payment code, ride a shared bike, install a bike sharing APP, scan the QR code, delete the task, send reports and memos, log with your fingerprint, click the OK button. ... Listen and find out the answers of the questions. Understand the important points and take notes. 通过补全对话让学生对文本有进一步的了解。学习文本的重点词句,夯实长难句,为后面的口语输出做铺垫。Step 4: Speaking Activity 5: Act and practice Teachers create dialogue situations through pictures or videos, and briefly introduce the dialogue background. One is the community intelligent express cabinet, and the other is the restaurant self-service system. Students choose the situation and do group oral practice and demonstration. Students in small groups further read contextual information, familiarize themselves with the language situation, and prepare for dialogue and communication.
