教材分析 本课教学内容选自《英语 拓展模块》第六单元“Carrying Forward Craftsmanship”读写板块(Reading and Writing)。本板块以职业精神为主题。阅读部分设计了四个与职业精神相关的短语篇和一个介绍继承与发展传统泥塑工艺的长语篇。本部分设计了理解语篇信息并梳理语篇结构的活动,这些活动不仅可以训练学生获取信息与理解语篇内容的能力,还可以引导学生感悟语篇中传递的祖国优秀传统文化与工匠精神,激发学生的文化自信、民族自豪感以及向模范、榜样学习的内在驱动力。 写作部分包含三个活动。这三个活动的内容反复呈现了人物介绍的写作要求与人物介绍类语篇的框架结构,有利于巩固人物介绍类文章的相关知识点。三个活动在能力训练上层层递进,逐步提升,让学生由通过阅读了解结构,到通过阅读填写信息,再到根据信息完成写作练习,达到同步提升学生阅读与写作能力的双重效果。
学情分析 学生有关家人介绍的语言表达方式,能够理解简单的人物介绍类语篇结构和人物基本信息,但学生对于通过关键词归纳总结段落主要内容的技能相对欠缺,通过人物实践活动或故事提炼人物职业精神的意识相对薄弱,对提取主人公成长历程的关键节点及事迹缺乏主动性,学生对于介绍和讨论人物的职业头衔、所获奖项、职业素养、职业精神缺乏逻辑思维的梳理能力和语言的灵活应用能力。因此教师在课堂上可通过先分析语篇,确定语篇各段落主要内容及所含要点的方法帮助学生梳理语篇结构,随后将人物信息卡中要点与语篇段落中的要点一一对应,再通过表示时间和衔接的重点词汇、句法知识等完成并修改写作内容。

Step 2: Pre-reading Read and match Let students underline the key words of the titles, then skim the four texts and match their suitable title. Discuss Q1: What is the spirit of craftsmanship Q2: Why the spirit of craftsmanship is important Q3:How can we develop our spirit of craftsmanship Watch a video Clay Figure Zhang Students read the text for several times and finish the reading exercises to match their titles. 通过阅读四个短语篇为说明文并匹配标题的学习活动,目的是训练学生快速阅读并通过捕捉关键词理解语篇主旨大意的能力,激活原有语言知识,提升学习兴趣,为后续阅读活动做铺垫。

Step 4: Post-reading (Writing) Read and match Let students skim the subject of the event plan and match the name with each part of the personal profile. Read and complete Ask students to read and pay attention to the structure of personal profile and skim the key words to complete the person profile form. Read and write. Read the personal profile form of Gu Qiuliang, complete his introduction .
