资源简介 课 题 Unit 7 Finding a Job (Listening and Speaking) 课 型 Listening and Speaking 课 时 2授课班级 授课时间 90mins 授课教师教材分析 本课教学内容选自《英语 拓展模块》第七单元“Finding a Job”听说板块(Listening and Speaking)。本板块内容以求职应聘为主题,教学内容要求在求职应聘的语境中,学生能够进行求职应聘的对话,概括求职方的诉求和招聘方的关注点;熟悉面试过程中询问信息与介绍个人情况的功能语句,口头简单谈论自己的工作期望和更换工作的理由;能够向同伴寻求更换工作的建议,完成与企业人力资源部经理的面试应聘对话。学情分析 求职应聘是与学生职业生涯紧密相关的话题。学生有实习或兼职工作面试的体验,因而学生有进行本话题讨论的话题基础。学生已学习过谈论个人信息和实习经历的话题,了解有关询问并提供个人信息的表达,如apply for、major in等词汇以及“May I have your name ”“Can you tell me something about ... ”等句型。但学生存在话题词汇量少,自主获取知识和系统总结所学内容的意识较差,表达的意愿和英语综合应用能力较弱。因而,教师在课堂上通过组织求职应聘的各个活动,可帮助学生先进行理解模仿,再到替换练习,熟悉职业场景,最后能够完成求职应聘和介绍理想职业的对话内容。活动由易及难,不断增强学生表达的自信心,提高表达能力。学习目标 Knowledge objective Master the useful expressions about a job interview and a dream job. Lead a regular life; The need for social situations; Get a sense of achievement; Experience different people and things; Have higher social status. Q2: I’ll apply for an accountant position / a tour guide position / a salesman position ... Students read the questions to think the answers. 通过问题让学生让学生认识和了解工作的原因及求职面试所需做的准备,并为后面学习和找工作做铺垫。Step 2: Listening Activity 1: Listen and match Ask students to scan the names and career activities to underline the key words, and predict the content of the dialogue. Then play the listening materials. Activity 2: Listen and choose Ask students to scan the questions and options and draw the key words such as how (what job, why and which), nouns (secretary, salesperson, tour guide) adj. (boring、friendly、cooperative、patient、good at)and some words about career such as secretary、salesperson、tour guide、accountant、designer、translator、engineer etc. Students actively predict the dialogue content, develop their ability to predict the listening content based on key information known. Activity 3: Listen and complete Ask students to scan job applicant’s information and fill in the blanks. Guide the students to draw the key information in the table, such as name、school、major、work experience、qualification、time for interview. Then play the recording. Finish the listening activities “Listen and match, Listen and choose and Listen and complete” in the textbook. 本环节主要是听力练习活动,以求职应聘为主要话题,通过信息匹配、选择、填空等题型的听力对话内容,为学生创设话题情境,在熟悉话题的基础上,提升学生根据已知信息获取关键信息的能力,引导学生树立良好的职业意识,理解求职应聘中职业能力和工作经验的重要性。Step 3: Dialogue learning Activity 4 Watch a video Tips of job interview Q1:What can you do to prepare for your job seeking Q2:What will an interviewer ask about in a job interview Suggested answers: Q1: I can get more information about the company on the Internet./I may review what I have learnt at school./I’ll prepare all my certificates or awards that I have got ...Ad, job market, school job interview Q2: The interviewer may ask about my dream salary./The interview may ask about why I want to change my job./The interviewer may ask about my work experience. Read and choose Read and draw the key words of the options, then deduce the answers according to the logical relationship, and complete the dialogue sentence by mon methods include: regular response, synonym substitution(同义词替换), keyword repetition and so on.. Listen and underline Listen the dialogue about job interview and underline interview function sentences. Then check the answers. Language points Teach the important points of the recording such as job interview; present salary; dream job; quit my job; work experience; turn sb. down; advantage qualification;recommend me for the position; graduate from; major in; send/email me your résumé Listen and find out the answers of the questions. Understand the important points and take notes. 通过补全对话让学生对文本有进一步的了解。学习文本的重点词句,夯实长难句,为后面的口语输出做铺垫。Step 4: Speaking Activity 5: Act and practice Teachers create dialogue situations through pictures, and briefly introduce the dialogue background. One is talking about change a job, and the other is job interview. Students choose the situation and do group oral practice and demonstration. Students in small groups further read contextual information, familiarize themselves with the language situation, and prepare for dialogue and communication.
