资源简介 课 题 Unit 1 Taking a Training Course (Listening and Speaking) 课 型 Listening and Speaking 课 时 2课时授课班级 授课时间 90 mins 授课教师教材分析 本课教学内容选自《英语 拓展模块》第一单元“Taking a Training Course”听说板块(Listening and Speaking)。本板块内容以报名和参加培训课程为主题,旨在训练学生获取课程信息的能力,也为学生掌握与培训课程内容及报名流程相关的语言表达提供了内容载体。学情分析 参加培训课程是与学生终身学习紧密相关的话题。学生基本都有参加校内或者校外培训课程的体验,因而学生有进行本话题讨论的基础和素材。同时,学生在基础模块中学习过参加学校社团活动的话题,在了解培训课程信息时,对于课程时间、学员基本信息填写等信息要素可进行迁移应用,如apply、register等词汇以及“How can I help you ”“What can I do for you ”和“I’d like to register for ...”等句型。但学生对于参加培训课程以及做毕业后的规划等内容还无法进行深入交流,用英文描述更多培训课程信息方面还存在表达困难。因而教师在课堂上通过模拟咨询培训课程信息的方式,由易及难,不断增强学生表达的自信心,提高表达能力。先进行理解模仿,再到替换练习,熟悉职业场景,最后能够完成咨询课程和介绍课程的对话内容。学习目标 Knowledge Objectives: To learn words and phrases about taking a training course: sign up for a course, apply for, register, offer, take an exam ... Learn the vocabularies about different training course. 通过列举学生们知道或参加过的培训课程从而引入主题并激发学生学习兴趣,为后面学习做铺垫。Step 2: Warming up Think and answer Ask students the following questions Do you have any evening classes / training classes When do you have your evening classes / training classes Why do you have these classes Think and give the reasons by using sentences” I have ... classes. I usually have ... classes on....I want to...”. Think and discuss Present the pictures to discuss what we should prepare before taking a training course. To be familiar with training – related vocabulary and expression 通过参与话题讨论,积极调动学生与本话题相关的词汇和表达方式,为学习本单元做好铺垫。Step 3: Listening Activity 1: Listen and match Ask students to scan the names of the characters and the information of the training course, and predict the content of the dialogue. Then play the listening materials. Activity 2: Listen and choose Ask students to scan the questions and answers and draw the key words such as how long ( months, weeks), location ( campus), nouns (exam, party) etc. . Students actively predict the dialogue content, develop their ability to predict the listening content based on key information known. Activity 3: Listen and complete Ask students to scan the information in the student information form and fill in the blanks. Guide the students to draw the key information in the table. Then play the recording. Finish the listening activities Listen and match, Listen and choose and Listen and complete” in the textbook. 本环节旨在训练学生根据已有的信息预测听力内容。在听的过程中获取、归纳并记录关键信息,侧重培养学生语言沟通能力和语言交互能力。Step 4: Dialogue learning Activity 4 Listen and answer Listen the recording and let students answer some question about registering for a course. Read and underline Read the dialogue after the recording to underline the sentences about registering for a course. Then check the answers. Language points Teach the important points of the recording such as sign up for a course, apply for, register, offer, take an exam ... Listen and find out the answers of the questions. Understand the important points and take notes. 通过听对话回答 问题让学生对文本有进一步的了解。学习文本的重点词句,夯实长难句,为后面的口语输出做铺垫。Step 5: Speaking Activity 5: Imitate and practice Students skim the dialogue and the contents of the options, understand the situation and general content of the dialogue, and draw the key information of the text. Students gives the answers and teachers organize students to read aloud in groups. Teacher invites a group of students to conduct a dialogue presentation. Teachers gave comments and encouragement. Activity 5: Act and practice Students choose the situation and do group oral practice and demonstration. Students in small groups further read contextual information, familiarize themselves with the language situation, and prepare for dialogue and communication. Teacher select some groups of students on the two topics for dialogue sharing, organized students to evaluate, and instructed students to pay attention to the completeness of the content and the correctness of the expression Imitate activity 4 and make up a new dialogue and then practice with partners.
