资源简介 课 题 Unit 3 Doing Our Part for the Environment(Listening and Speaking) 课 型 Listening and Speaking 课 时 2授课班级 授课时间 90mins 授课教师教材分析 本课教学内容选自《英语 拓展模块》第三单元“Doing Our Part for the Environment”听说板块(Listening and Speaking)。本板块内容以环境保护为主题,训练学生通过听对话获取有关环境问题的信息及理解具体环保措施的能力,也为学生了解环保活动中个人行为的重要性提供了内容载体。熟悉描述环境问题的表达,口头简要介绍应对环境问题的措施和垃圾分类的知识;能够与同伴就日常生活中的环保举措进行讨论,体现“从我做起”的环保观念。学情分析 环境保护是与学生日常生活紧密相关的话题。学生基本都有垃圾分类、绿色出行等与环境保护相关的生活经验,因而学生有进行本话题讨论的基础和素材。但学生对于应对环境问题的措施等内容较少进行深入交流,用英文描述更多环保举措还存在表达困难。同时,学生存在话题词汇量少,自主获取知识和系统总结所学内容的意识较差,课堂上有表达的诉求,但往往受英语知识储备量所限,表达的意愿较弱,英语综合应用能力较弱,因而教师在课堂上通过模拟访谈的方式,由易及难,不断增强学生表达的自信心,提高表达能力。先进行理解模仿,再到替换练习,熟悉语言使用场景,最后能够完成讨论环境问题和应对措施的对话内容。学习目标 Knowledge objective Master the useful expressions about environmental problems and protection,如smoggy days、human activities、burn too much coal and oil、bring harm to our health ...以及I hope we can do something to ...、Everybody is responsible for...、We can protect the environment by ...; Ability objectives Be able to understand conversations about environmental problems and protection; Be able to discuss environmental issues and introduce knowledge of garbage classification. What is the environment Are we one part of the environment Students watch the video about the environment. Read the questions and discuss in groups. 通过视频呈现环境,让学生对环境有更好的理解和认识,同时明确我们每个人也是环境的一部分,并为后面学习做铺垫。Step 2: Listening Activity 1: Listen and match Ask students to scan activities, and predict the content of the dialogue. Then play the listening materials. Activity 2: Listen and choose Ask students to scan the questions and answers and draw the key words such as what (what...like), adj. (sunny, smoggy, snow)nouns (coal,oil, cars ) etc. . Students actively predict the dialogue content, develop their ability to predict the listening content based on key information known. Activity 3: Listen and complete Ask students to scan the information in the interview notes form and fill in the blanks. Guide the students to draw the key information in the table. Then play the recording. Finish the listening activities “Listen and match, Listen and choose and Listen and complete” in the textbook. 本部分以环境保护为主要话题,通过信息匹配、选择、填空等题型的听力对话内容,为学生创设话题情境,在熟悉话题的基础上,提升学生根据已知信息获取关键信息的能力,引导学生树立环保意识。Step 3: Dialogue learning Activity 4 Read and choose Listen the recording and let students answer some question about sorting garbage. Listen and underline Read the dialogue after the recording to underline the sentences about sorting garbage. Then check the answers. Language points Teach the important points of the recording such as environmental protection, advise to,environment-friendly, instead of and so on, put what we have learnt at school into use ... Listen and find out the answers of the questions. Understand the important points and take notes. 通过听对话回答 问题让学生对文本有进一步的了解。学习文本的重点词句,夯实长难句,为后面的口语输出做铺垫。Step 4: Speaking Activity 5: Imitate and practice Students skim the dialogue and the contents of the options, understand the situation and general content of the dialogue, and draw the key information of the text. Students gives the answers and teachers organize students to read aloud in groups. Teacher invites a group of students to conduct a dialogue presentation. Teachers gave comments and encouragement. Activity 5: Act and practice Students choose the situation and do group oral practice and demonstration. Students in small groups further read contextual information, familiarize themselves with the language situation, and prepare for dialogue and communication. Teacher select some groups of students on the two topics for dialogue sharing, organized students to evaluate, and instructed students to pay attention to the completeness of the content and the correctness of the expression. Imitate activity 4 and make up a new dialogue and then practice with partners.
