教材分析 本课教学内容选自《英语 拓展模块》Review 2中的Unit 5—8读写板块(Reading and Writing)。阅读部分教学内容要求能够读懂语篇内容,判断与语篇相关表述的正误,能提取关键信息,感知互联网对社会的影响,能概况各段落的主要内容,为各段落匹配标题,为后续写作任务做准备。 写作部分复现了5—8单元的重点写作内容,可以检测学生对相关知识和能力的掌握情况,在能力训练上层层递进,逐步提升,使学生由通过阅读了解结构,到通过阅读补全信息,再到根据信息完成写作练习,达到同步提升学生阅读与写作能力的效果。
学情分析 阅读部分三个语篇:职业阶梯,互联网,职业选择为Unit 5—8学习过的主题,是与学生生活和职业规划紧密相关的话题,因而学生对语篇素材较为熟悉,也有相关词汇和句式知识的储备,但在理解整个语篇和概括段落主题方面可能存在困难,因而教师需要引导学生在语篇阅读时查找关键词和关键信息来理解语篇完成练习,提高文本阅读技能。 经过Unit 5—8的学习,学生基本掌握自我介绍和求职信的基本语言表达,能读懂个人简历,并能运用所学词汇与句型补全自我介绍以及求职信的结构和所含内容。但不能准确输出,因而教师在课堂上通过呈现简历的方式,由易及难,不断增强学生写作的自信心,提高写作能力。先进行模仿,再到替换练习,最后完成求职信的撰写。

Step 1: Reading Activity 7: Read and choose Let students quickly read the statements and find the keywords or key information in the statements, then read the passage quickly and tell them true or false. Activity 8: Read and choose Ask students to skim the questions and the options to underline the key words, then scan the text quickly and find the corresponding information according to the key words. This text introduces the Internet, its advantages and some examples. Finally choose the answers. Activity 9: Read and complete Organize students to scan the text quickly and conclude the main idea of each paragraph. Then read the subtitles and translate them into Chinese. Finally match the subtitles with the paragraphs. Read the text for several times and finish the reading exercises to choose the answers. 本部分共有攀登职业阶梯、介绍互联网科学选择职业三个语篇,分别设计了判断正误、选择答案回答问题、匹配小标题的学习活动、旨在训练学生的阅读能力,同时通过语篇呈现的职业精神、技术与生活等内容,培养学生的职业责任感,增进学生对技术发展意义的认识。
Step 2: Writing Activity 10: Read and complete Guide students to read the resume and understand the basic structure of the resume: personal information, personal education experiences, work experience qualifications and honors. Let students read the resume carefully, find the keywords to fill in the information, and then obtain the relevant information from the resume, and complete the self-introduction. Teachers organize students who are at different levels to share answers. Activity 11: Read and complete Guide students to read Zhao Hua's resume and understand the key elements: personal basic information, education experiences, work experience, qualifications and honors. Teacher leads the students to read Zhao Hua’s self-introduction and review the key words and sentence patterns about a application letter: Dear Sir / Madam, I am writing to apply for the position of which you advertised in.... I am a student at ... and I am going to graduate... My major is... At school, I have got an excellent academic record and have received professional training that helped me to become a capable... I completed a ...-month internship at ... and my performance was rated highly by the HR manager. I would be grateful to have an interview opportunity for the position. I can be reached at...   Thank you for your time. I’m looking forward to hearing from you. Yours sincerely, XXX Let students read Li Hua's resume and self-introducyion to complete the application letter and ask students to share answers. Read the resume carefully to finish filling in the blanks, and read Zhao Hua's resume again and complete his application letter. 本部分有两个活动,第一个活动是引导学生阅读一篇个人简历,完成自我介绍的撰写,既训练学生通过阅读提取信息的能力,又帮助学生熟悉了自我介绍的包含要素及语言特点,为学生完成求职信的写作做好准备。第二个活动是在熟悉简历信息和自我介绍语句的基础上,完成求职信的撰写。这两个活动复现了5—8单元的重点写作内容,旨在检测学生对于相关知识和能力的掌握情况。
Step 5 Summary Master the training skills of reading: Underline the key words of the questions and options; Go back to the text with the key words to read carefully and choose the correct option; Read the title and predict the content of the text; Skim the first or last sentence of the first and last paragraph to get the main idea; Scan to find a particular piece of information;
Step 6: Homework Write your own application letter.
