复活节的由来
复活节是基督教纪念耶稣复活的一个宗教节日。每年，春分过去，第一次月圆后的第一个星期日就是复活节。日期年年不同，一般在3月22日至4月25日之间。
复活节有不少传统习惯，最典型的要数复活节彩蛋。古人常把蛋视为多子多孙和复活的象征。后来基督教徒又赋予蛋新的涵义，认为它是耶稣墓的象征，未来的生命就是从其中挣脱而出世的。
复活节时人们把鸡蛋染成红色，代表耶稣受难时流出的鲜血，同时也象征复活后的快乐。还有一种古老的习俗，是把煮熟的鸡蛋送给街头的孩子们做游戏。
复活节彩蛋精美漂亮富有装饰性，它们代表着人们的美好心愿，并与你分享季节更替的喜悦。过去，复活节一般要举行盛大的宗教游行。游行者身穿长袍，手持十字架，赤足前进。他们打扮成基督教历史人物，唱着颂歌欢庆耶稣复活。如今节日游行已失去往日浓厚的宗教色彩。节日游行洋溢着喜庆的气氛，具有浓烈的民间特色和地方特色。
在美国，游行队伍中即有身穿牛仔服踩高跷的小丑，也有活泼可爱的卡通人物米老鼠(Micky)。在英国，游行多以介绍当地的历史(history)和风土人情为主，游行者化装成为苏格兰风笛乐队以及皇宫卫士，吸引了众多的游客(tourist)。复活节的到来还使人们纷纷换上新衣。过去基督教教徒会在节前去教堂行洗礼，然后穿上自己的新袍，庆祝基督的新生。复活节期间，人们还喜欢彻底打扫自己的住处，表示新生活从此开始。

“You brought a lot of chocolate eggs, Danny,” says Jenny. “Debbie will have fun looking for them.”
“I brought an Easter basket,” says Brian. “Debbie can put Easter eggs in it.”

“Let’s hide the eggs,” says Jenny. “Debbie will be here soon. We don’t want her to see them!” Jenny, Brian and Danny put eggs on the ground. They hide them behind rocks and under trees.
Soon, Debbie arrives. “Happy Easter, Debbie!” says Danny. “Here’s an Easter basket,” says Brian. “Now, fill it with eggs!” “I can’t make eggs,” says Debbie. “I’m not a hen!” Jenny laughs. “We put chocolate eggs everywhere in the park. Can you find them ” Debbie runs and runs. She climbs trees. She fills her basket with eggs.

How do people celebrate Easter
People celebrate Easter with their family and friends. They eat delicious food together. In this way, it is like the Chinese Spring Festival. On Easter Day, many children have egg hunts and eat chocolate rabbits. Rabbits and eggs are symbols of new life. Children believe that the Easter Bunny comes and hides chocolate eggs for them to find.
The celebration of Easter is all about new life. Christians celebrate new life at Easter. Though the meaning of Easter has changed over time, the rabbits and eggs remain. Children use baskets to collect coloured eggs when they go hunting for Easter eggs.

(1). ask 意思是“请求，要求”，构成短语：ask sb. to do sth., 意思是“请求或者要求某人去做某事”，其中的动词不定式作宾语补足语。

make a decision to do sth. 意为“决定做某事”。
one of ＋(the ＋形容词最高级) ＋可数名词复数，表示“(最……的)其中之一”。后接形容词的最高级形式，再接可数名词的复数，但谓语动词用单数。

depend on 意为“依赖；取决于”。
【拓展】depend表示“依靠；依赖；指望”，接宾语时与on或upon连用。depend on/upon sb. to do sth.意思是“指望某人做某事”。
