The school football team is going to play in another city. Each player needs to pay 1000 yuan for the trip. Li Ming doesn’t have enough money. So Li Ming, Wang Mei and Li Lin decide to work together to raise some money. Wang Mei wants to bake some cookies to sell. Li Ming wants to invent a new product. Li Lin will make some posters to help them.

pay sb. “付钱给某人” Jim paid the waiter at once. 吉姆立刻把钱给了这个服务员。
pay for sth. “为……付款;付……费用”,该短语主语为“人”,for后接“物”。 He paid for the car and drove it away. 他付了钱,把车开走了。
pay money for sth. “为某物付钱” Betty paid 160 yuan for this pair of jeans. 贝蒂为这条牛仔裤付了160元。

each ①作限定词时,后面接可数名词单数形式,后面的谓语动词也是单数形式。 ②作代词时,可以单独使用,谓语动词要用单数形式;也可以放在复数主语的后面作同位语,谓语动词要用复数形式。③each不能和almost, nearly或者not连用,但是可以和of连用,后面可以接复数名词或者代词,谓语动词要用单数形式。 ①Each lesson lasts an hour.

【辨析】each和every
every 只能作限定词,而且只能和单数可数名词连用。every可以和almost, nearly或者not连用,不可以和of 连用。当“every+单数名词”作主语时,谓语动词也是单数形式。 Every child has a toy.

to raise money意为“筹钱”,在句中作目的状语。
e.g. To get there on time, I have to set off early.
为了按时到那里,我不得不早出发。

have got意为“有”,have got通常用在口语中,相当于一般现在时have的含义。have got的疑问句形式是将have提前;否定形式是在have之后直接加not。
e.g. — Have you got a computer 你有电脑吗?

是的,我有。/不,我没有。
5. I’ll bake something delicious.
something, nothing, everything等不定代词和形容词连用时,一定要放在形容词的前边。
e.g. I have something important to talk to you.
我有一些重要的事情要和你谈.
There isn’t anything new in today’s newspaper.
在今天的报纸上没有新东西。
6. I think everybody likes cookies.
“I think...”为主句,“everybody likes cookies”为省略了引导词that的宾语从句,作think的宾语。
e.g. I think we should go there as soon as possible.
我认为我们应该尽快到那里。
【拓展】
“I think…”引导的宾语从句变否定句时,把“I think…”变为否定形式“I don’t think…”,从句不变。
everybody作主语时,谓语动词用单数,相当于everyone。
e.g. — Is everybody/everyone here
