set a record (for…)意为“创造一项（……）纪录”，可以和make a record (for...)互换使用。

3. How long will I have to do this
How long… 意为“……多长时间？”，用来提问时间的长短，答语通常是表示一段时间的状语。
e. g. — How long have you studies in London
你在伦敦待了多长时间？
— For four years. 四年。
How构成的短语
How often 多长时间一次，对频率提问。
How many 多少，接可数名词复数。
How far 多远，对距离提问。
How soon 还要多久，对一般将来时里的“in+一段时间”提问。
How much 多少，接不可数名词或对价钱提问。

现在完成进行时，表示从过去某一时间开始一直持续到现在的动作，还有可能持续到将来，常与since或for引导的时间状语连用。
现在完成进行时的结构是“have/has been＋动词的现在分词”。
e.g. I have been learning history since three years ago.
从三年前开始我就开始学习历史。

bring sb. sth. ＝ bring sth. for sb. 给某人带来某物
