People often remember what they were doing when they heard the news of important news in history. An important event that I remember well was that the great man Yuan Longping passed away in Changsha on May22,2021.
When I heard the news, I was reading books while my parents were making lunch. We were completely shocked and thought it was unbelievable. Later, we saw the report on the Internet. All of us felt very sad and finished the rest of lunch in silence. On hearing the news, hundreds of people came to the hospital in Changsha to see him off and shouted out words such as “Grandpa Yuan, have a good journey.”
