教材分析 本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材，《英语3 基础模块》中第二单元的Culture Understanding and Group Work板块，Culture Understanding板块介绍了中西方社区差异，以及蕴含的文化差异。Group work板块则是引导学生学习了解Merry Garden 社区的介绍信息，增进对西方社区的了解，感知西方社区氛围的价值观念。通过梳理关键信息并设计制作社区宣传视频，在实践中体会中西方社区文化的差异，理解文化多元性，坚定文化自信。
学情分析 学生能够识读关于介绍社区设施及服务信息的相关表达，已经认识到中西方社区文化的差异，感受了我国优秀的社区文化，同时能够区分并表达中西方社区的文化差异，但在对文化差异背后的原因进行基本的探讨与思考和初步表达方面，学生仍需要通过本节课的文化理解，进行系统训练与提升，并通过小组活动进一步了解更多社区的特色，能够给潜在的外国客户介绍社区设施和温馨的服务。
学习目标 Knowledge objectives: To grasp the following：intelligent，be equipped with,facial recognition systems,install,facial scanning,QR code,license plate recognition,environmental analysis functions,monitor,carefree, resort-style. To be able to know the two different communities:an intelligent community and community for the elderly. Ability objectives: To understand the introduction information of Chinese and foreign community facilities and services. To improve cross-cultural understanding ability. Emotional objectives: To raise the awareness of cultural differences. To stimulate students’ love for our own national culture .

Step 3: Group Work Work in groups. Read the following information and fill in the table. Work in groups. Discuss and prepare the introduction. Make a video and share with the classmate,then choose a better to show in the class. Work in groups ,one student read ,and two students to find the main contents and the last one to take the notes . Finish the community introduction in group with the help of main content. Make a video to introduce the community in groups. 通过小组分工完成收集信息的任务，为小组活动做准备。 学生通过社区介绍的写作，和社区宣传视频的设计任务，检测本单元所学相关的职场语言沟通能力、思维差异感知能力、跨文化理解能力和自主学习能力目标达成情况，通过实践任务进一步提升这四方面的能力和素养。
