教材分析 本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材，《英语3 基础模块》中第八单元的Culture Understanding and Group Work板块，Culture Understanding板块介绍了有关张富清和申纪兰这两位时代楷模，他们用实际行动践行爱国主义和为人民服务的使命。Group Work板块则是通过制作职业规划视频，检验本单元所学相关的职场语言沟通能力、思维差异感知能力、跨文化理解能力和自主学习能力目标达成情况。
学情分析 学生已经掌握关于介绍楷模人物的相关词汇，并会分析楷模成功的原因。但是时代楷模话题下的人物事例是非常广泛的，不同领域中人物事迹各有特点，需通过小组活动积极探究，启发学生透过现象和事例发现其价值取向和精神追求，才能总结得出中华民族文化和价值的共同特征，从而激发学生的爱国主义情怀，增强对中华民族文化和价值观的认同感，同时提高学生的自主学习和探究能力。
