Dear Sir/Madam
I know that the Universiade will be held here soon. I want to apply to be one of the volunteers. I
am a Junior High School student. I am good at English, especially oral English. I like sports. I often
play basketball with my friends in my spare time. I’m also in the Green Earth Club at my school. We
often share some knowledge about environmental protection with other students.
If I can become a volunteer, I will communicate with college students from other countries in
English, so that they can better understand our city. I will also tell the knowledge of protecting the earth
to them, so that they can become an environmentalist during the Games.
I hope the organizing committee can agree with me to become a volunteer. I believe I will do
better. I also hope that the Universiade can be held successfully in Chengdu.
