Step1 Warming up Watch a video Let students watch a video and ask students one question T: Do you know these Chinese super heroes The main characters are from Chinese traditional stories. Could you use your own words to tell the stories in English Ask and answer Present some pictures and ask: T:What is his/her name S:… T:What is he/she doing S:… Step 2 Presentation Work in 1a Look at the pictures in 1a, then read the names of the story in the box. Ss discuss with their partners and match the names of the stories with the pictures. 2. Listening (1b) 1. T: Tell Ss they will hear a great Chinese traditional story. Listen and check (the √facts) you hear. Which story are Anna and Wang Ming talking about S: They are talking about “Yu Gong Moves a Mountain”. 2.From the conversation，answer the questions.
