Step1 Warming up and lead in Word review Ask students to play a word play. T:The game made us recall the song “ The mushroom girl”. A fairy tale is an old, traditional story. Free talk T:What fairy tale do you know S:Cinderella, snow white… Let students speak out the names of fairy tales according to the pictures and the main characters. T:Do you know what these fairy tales are about T introduces these fairy tales. Then say “They also have a bad stepmother.” Step2 Reading Pre-reading Finding Out the Text Type Before you read, decide what kind of text it is. Is it a letter, a play, a short story or something else 1)First, introduce different text type: 2)Then ask students“What is the literature type of the text ” S：It’s a play.
