1.英语时刻表达法
英语中的时刻表达方式一般有两种:
二、用文字表述的形式，
如：6:30 AM 读作：half past six in the morning
意为：上午六点半
一、用数字加AM(a.m.)或PM(p.m.), 如：6:30 AM，读作：six thirty AM
意为：上午六点半

（2）文字表述时间时,用介词past(过了……)或to(到……),
先说分后说时，未超过30分时用“分+past+时”,
如: twenty-five past three four 3点25分
即3点钟过了25分
（1）AM(a.m.)表示午夜12时至中午12时这段时间,
PM(p.m.)表示中午12时至夜里12时。

超过30分时，用“60-分钟数+to+(下一)时”。
如：3:55 five to four 3点55分，即差5分到4点
（3）汉语的时间“由大到小”,
如: 上午七点半，先说大的时间范围“上午”，再说“时”，
然后再说“分”，而英语时间“由小到大”，
先说half past seven，然后说in the morning。

2.英语陈述句的语序习惯
英语词语的顺序有时候与汉语不同，
汉语一般是“某人在某时某地做某事”，
如：我通常在12:00点在学校吃午饭。
在英语中，本句的语序就不是这样，
而是“某人做某事在某地在某时”，
如：I usually eat lunch at school at twelve o’clock.
