Analysis of teaching material What This passage is from Unit 3 I’m more outgoing than my sister. The topic is Friend. The function is to talk about personal traits and compare people. This passage is the third part, so students have learned some useful information in the first two classes, so it's easy for us to lead in the new information. This part is about the personal traits of good friends and the conversation about the similarities and differences of Molly’s and Mary’s best friends.WhyBy the end of this class, students are able to understand what a real friend is and how to find a real friend. In students’ daily life, some students have problems in finding friends and communicate with friend.So it's useful for students to learn this class. HowThis is a listening and speaking class, this part design the listening and speaking activities from low level to high level according to activity based approach and Bloom’s taxonomy of learning.And i believe this part is the transition to reading and further extension.
description of students My students are from Grade 8. They are willing to cooperate in class and love to share their ideas by simple expressions. But as we all know, there are both strong and weak students in our class, so giving different students different requirements is of vital importance.
