教 学目 标 By the end of this section, students will be able to: check and consolidate what they have learnt in this unit when it comes to vocabulary, such as amateur, recite, and respective; check and consolidate what they have learnt in this unit when it comes to grammar, like the relative clauses; have a better understanding of poetry; improve their ability of self-evaluation and reflection.
教 学 主 题 该板块由两部分组成，包括语言知识检测活动（活动1和活动2）和自我反思活动（Reflecting）。活动1是短文填空，短文主要描述了诗歌的起源、早期诗歌的表现主题以及诗人的产生。活动2要求学生用定语从句将两个小对话的内容改写成完整的句子或文段。这两个活动的目的不仅是检测学生对本单元重点词汇语法结构的掌握情况，同时也是补充与单元主题相关的文化知识，使学生更深入理解诗歌的意和价值。自我反思部分要求学生归纳本单元谈及的不同诗歌形式、诗歌表现手法，描述自己喜欢的诗歌，分析本单元学习过程中的困难，总结创作诗歌的感受等。

教 学目 标 By the end of this section, students will be able to: learn about different forms of poetry and discover their formats and common themes; choose three forms of poetry that they can imitate; write poems through cooperation with their group mates.
教 学 主 题 项目活动的主题是“组织一次诗歌比赛”（Organise a poetry contest），要求学生借助网络搜索了解更多更丰富的诗歌形式，并从中找到自己喜爱的诗歌类型，尝试仿写，然后全班诵读诗歌并评选最佳作品。
教 学 重 点 引导学生了解更多更丰富的诗歌形式，并从中找到自己喜爱的诗歌类型。
教 学难 点 引导学生一起合作，仿写诗歌，深入理解诗歌的意义和价值。
教 学 内 容 与 过 程 Step 1 Preparation 1. 让学生完成活动1，搜索所列的英文诗歌形式，了解它们的行文特征，根据喜好或语言的难易程度选择合适的诗作作为仿写范本。 2. 让学生完成活动2，进一步了解不同形式的诗歌的常见主题。 Step 2 Write poems 让学生完成活动3，结合自己组所选择的主题以及诗歌形式，根据要求绘制思维导图，然后开始诗歌创作。 Step 3 Evaluation 让学生完成活动4，分享诗作，投票选出较好的诗作。 Step 4 Homework According to the teacher’s and classmates’ evaluation, polish up your poems. 备注

教 学目 标 By the end of this section, students will be able to: find and analyse the poems that they have learnt for rhyming words; use words they have learnt to complete some sentences; distinguish some groups of similar words.
教 学 主 题 本单元的词汇学习部分共有三个活动。活动1要求学生从前面的Reading and Thinking板块的诗歌作品中找出押韵的单词，并适当补充其他词。这一活动不仅是为了帮助学生复习和巩固已学词汇，同时也是为了加深学生对诗歌韵律的印象，为后续仿写诗歌的任务作铺垫。活动2主要选取了阅读板块呈现的部分主题词，让学生在理解的基础上学会在新的语境中运用这些单词。活动3则选取了两组容易混淆的单词，让学生结合语境加深对单词的理解，学会辨析单词的语域（register），从而掌握这些单词的用法。
教 学 重 点 引导学生从前面的读思板块的诗歌作品中找出押韵的单词，并适当补充其他词； 引导学生在新的语境中运用之前所学的单词。
教 学难 点 引导学生结合语境区分两组容易混淆的单词，掌握这些单词的用法。
