invite v. 邀请
Point
1. invite my friends to a party. (教材P21 1a)
invite作动词，意为“邀请”。常见用法有：invite sb. to+地点名词 邀请某人到某地；invite sb. to do sth. 邀请某人做某事；invitation作名词，意为 “邀请；请柬”。
eg：He invited me to his party yesterday.
Chinese people often invite their friends to have dinner together.
They invited her to go for a walk. 他们请她一起去散步。
I’ve been invited to speak at the meeting. 我受到邀请在会上发言。
Thank you for your kind invitation. 谢谢你的盛情邀请。
make one’s bed “整理床铺”

2. make your bed (教材P21 1a)
make one’s bed 意为“整理床铺”,相当于 make the bed。
eg：Do you make your bed after you get up 你起床后整理床铺吗
【注意】 make a bed意为“制作床”,其中 make 作 “制造;制作”解。
eg：His uncle made a bed for him last week.
他叔叔上星期给他做了一张床。
take out “带出去”

3. take out the rubbish (教材P21 1a)
take out意为“带出去”，是“动词+副词”型短语。后跟名词作宾语时放在take out 之间或后面都可以，后跟代词作宾语时，只能放在take与out之间。take out还有“取出，拿出”之意。
eg：The dog is noisy. Can you take it out. Mike
这只狗很吵。你能把它带出去吗，迈克？
The book is in my bag. Please take it out. 书在我的包里，请把它拿出来。
【拓展】 take...out of... 意为“把……从……中取出”。
eg：I took the money out of my wallet to pay for the breakfast.

【易混辨析】 borrow与lend
例词 含义 常用结构
borrow “借；借用”，指主语从别人处“借来”东西自己使用。 borrow sth. (from sb.)
（向某人）借某物
lend (lent, lent) “借给；借出”，指主语把自己的东西“借出”给别人使用。 lend sth. to sb.=lend sb. sth. 把某物借给某人
【拓展】keep也可表示“借”，是延续性动词，常与表示一段时间的状语连用。keep sth. for some time表示“借用某物一段时间”。而lend与borrow是短暂性动词，不能与表示一段时间的状语连用。
【巧学妙记】主语借出用lend，主语借入用borrow，想要保存用keep。
eg：Nick borrowed a book from the library and he lent it to me. He told me that I could keep it for a week.
