应用文写作--投稿
教学目标：掌握应用文写作解题方法和技巧。
教学重点：应用文的审题和要点转换。
教学难点：如何正确转换要点。
投稿属于短文类写作，通知、演讲稿、新闻报道、日记、宣传稿等都属于短文类写作。 投稿，通常会有特定的主题，写一篇相关话题的小短文即可，小短文以记叙文或者议论文为主。要求学生掌握相关的词汇。
一、写作方法：
对于“参赛”和“征文”的英语作文，常以记叙文为主。分为写人和叙事两种。写作步骤如下：
1.认真审题，提炼主题
认真分析标题或材料所提供的信息，确定主题。 注意标题的含义很多，建议写自己最擅长和熟悉的人和事。
2.联系生活，确定要点
以主题为纲，进一步思考其内涵和外延，联系自己的学习、生活实际，确定写作的要点。高考英语书面表达试题凸显时代性，学生要多关注社会生活实际。
3.细化要点，布局谋篇
细化要点，使文章更丰满。可以采用三段式的写作模式来行文。最好拟个提纲，以明确主次，切忌边想边写。
第一段：引出话题，点明主题。→主题呈现
第二段：叙述具体情况，列出层次一二三。→事件描述
第三段：总结（表达感谢，祝福与祝愿），升华意义，呼应主题。
读典型例子，提取有用句型
（2021年新高考I卷）你校英文报Youth正在庆祝创刊十周年。请你写一篇短文投稿，内容包括：
1. 读报的经历；
2. 喜爱的栏目；
3. 期望和祝福。
注意：

Youth and Me
Since I entered senior high school, Youth has kept me company. Whenever I have time, I take Youth and immerse myself in it. It brings me so much joy and helps me pull through my darkest days.
Of her ten columns, Foreign Culture is my favorite. The column exposes me to different cultures, which not only broadens my horizons but also makes me feel relaxed.
I sincerely hope Youth will achieve greater success and enjoy more popularity.

The person I respect
When it comes to the respectable people around me, my English teacher who definitely influence me a lot will be on the top of my list undoubtedly.
The reasons why I like her so much are as follows. First and foremost, what calls for special attention is, as a teacher, she is responsible and passionate about her job. Besides, it has to be noticed that her class is interesting and attractive. Additionally, what impressed me most is that she is so patient and considerate. Whenever we have problems, we will turn to her for help. Once I failed in the exam. Seeing me in low spirits, my English teacher comforted me and cheered me up. Without her encouragement, I couldn’t have made so much progress.
Such is my English teacher. She not only teaches us English but also inspires us to be a better person. She sets a good example for us and really deserves our respect.

When it comes to learning a new skill, my experience of learning to play the piano will be on the top of my unforgettable list. Here I would like to share more in detail.
When I was in my primary school, I had an opportunity to attend a musical contest held in my school. That was the first time I watched a live musical performance. The fantastic players touched me deeply, so I asked my parents allowing me to take up a piano lesson for beginner. In the beginning, it was quite difficult to read the notes on the stave. I spent most of my leisure hours in practicing the piano. Although my fingers were painful after few hours practice, I felt satisfied if I could play a music piece completely.
Even though I will not pursue it as my life career, I will still continue learning and playing the piano as my hobby. It is simply because music is the best medication for my soul.

Among so many special days in my life, I would like to share one of my birthdays.
That day I failed the English exam at school and arrived home sorrowfully. When I found my mom had prepared a grand dinner for my birthday celebration, a feeling of guilty came to my mind with my eyes in tears. Not knowing what happened, Mom just came over and hugged me. After I poured out my frustration, mom gently comforted me, saying that it was my dedicated attempt, instead of the exam result, that valued most.
I was encouraged by Mom’s word sand learned that all I needed was just devotion to my work. How meaningful a lesson and what a memorable day!

The reasons why I like dancing so much are as follows. First and foremost, what calls for special attention is that I can make more friends by practicing dancing on a regular basis after school. Besides, it has to be noticed that I love dancing because not only does it greatly enrich my campus life but it also broadens my horizons. More significantly, dancing to music can be the best way for me to relieve stress and lift my spirits, which is of great importance. Finally, I would like to attach great necessity to the point that mastering any style of dance takes hard work, determination and patience, which shape me into a better person. I would not be who I am today without dancing after school.
I am attractive to dancing and it has benefited me a lot in many aspects.
