【课标与教材分析：】
本课涉及中国和外国各种节日，要让学生学会各节日的读法和所在的月份，要对号入座，不能搞混节日的日期，除学会单词的读法，也要了解各国不同的节日文化。《义务教育英语课程标准》对五年级学生学习英语提出二级分级目标。
学情分析：三年级学英语起点的学生，现在到五年级，学生已经掌握了大量的词汇和句型，并且对各国文化也有部分了解，节日文化更是孩子们感兴趣的话题，因此，情感态度上，更容易接受所学内容，但是本课的单词相对比较长，要通过多种形式教会读用。我班的宋赵杰、刘志程、赵世珍等几个同学对于本单元的单词掌握不好，句型运用上要多加练习。
【教学目标】
知识与技能
1.能用理解Let’s talk 的大意，能用正确的语音语调朗读对话。
2.能在语境中运用When is the trip this year -----It’s in October..
3.理解书上重点句子，如： We’ll go to the Great Wall.
过程与方法
通过情景创设让学生经历和体会 What will you do for your mum…
I ‘ll …….. 的运用。
情感态度与价值观
培养学生爱国的情怀。
培养孩子们孝敬父母的优良传统和美德。
重 点 句型：When is ...... 的掌握及回答。
难 点 句型：When is ...... 的掌握及回答。

准 备 1. 教师准备多媒体课件、录音机和录音带、词卡。
2. 学生准备人物头饰。
【Teaching steps( 教学过程)：】
Talk show.
Let the students make a short report prepared in advance.Step 1 Warm up 此环节用时5分钟
说唱玩赛，激情引趣
1. Let’s sing 播放课件，全班拍手有节奏地唱。
2. Talk show环节：请同学自告奋勇，英语口语展示所学内容。
【设计意图：复习已学习的知识，活跃课堂气氛，组织课堂教学。通过口语展示，再一次复习学过的句子，提供班集体这个平台锻炼自己的能力。】
Step 1.预习温故(用时5分钟）

Step 2. 新课内容展示（用时15分钟）
T : Do you like Autumn S s: Yes, I do .

2) listen to tape about Let’s talk.（初步感知对话内容）

Role play: 两人小组对话，轮流模仿Chen Jie 和Oliver 的对话。
听录音，模仿对话的语音语调。
同桌展示对话模仿练习的成果。
