How to Make Our Planet More Beautiful
With the development of science and technology, human beings are expected to travel into space in the near future. However, Earth is the only one planet which we can live on for now.

The Passage：
What do you know about Mars What does it look like
Mars is the fourth planet from the sun in our solar system and is named after Mars, the Roman god of war. Its diameter is 53% as wide as that of the earth. Mars goes around the sun at a distance of about 228 million kilometers. You can tell which planet is Mars because it is bright red in the night sky. It looks like a red and orange ball. It’s very beautiful. But during spring and summer, the surface of Mars is covered by strong storms. The gravity on the surface of Mars is about two-fifths as strong as it is on Earth. So a person who weighs 90 kilos on earth weighs only 36 kilos on Mars. The temperature on Mars is between -138℃ and 28℃. The air has only 0.13% oxygen.
It takes a spaceship about eight months to reach Mars from the earth when the two planets are closest to each other. Scientists are still searching for more information about Mars.

Basic elements (基本要素): Humans cannot survive without water, oxygen or food.
The life on Mars would be like:
There would be not enough oxygen on Mars. We can’t breathe on Mars freely.
There is not enough water.
There is not enough food.
The weather is too bad during spring and summer.
The temperature is too low and it’s not fit for human to live.
There’s less gravity on Mars. We can’t do sports well.
There is no fruit or vegetables.
Maybe Mars is dangerous and we can’t walk and travel around Mars freely.
Mars is so far from Earth that it would take several months to Mars.
Maybe we would feel uncomfortable or ill during this long journey.
Maybe we couldn’t adapt to(适应) the environment on Mars.
We might get ill from living there.
There are no schools on Mars.
What to take and why you take:
It is necessary to take air tank because there is not enough oxygen on Mars.
We should take enough water because there is not enough water on Mars.
Dried food should be taken because we are not sure whether plants could grow on Mars.
Vitamin tablets are necessary to be taken because there is no fruit or vegetables.
We should wear space helmet because the air on Mars is poisonous（有毒的）.
We should wear special boots because we have to prevent ourselves from floating off into space.
We must wear spacesuits because it can protect us in space. For example, we can use it to keep us warm and keep us from the hot rays of sun.
We need computers because there would probably be no schools on Mars. We would study at online schools with “e-teachers”.
We should take some pills because we might feel ill on Mars. Maybe we couldn’t adapt to(适应) the environment on Mars.
We should take many modern machines to explore Mars more deeply like looking for and developing water resource.
We need power pack because it can provide power and energy.
We need sleeping bags because the gravity on Mars is less than on Earth. We may float in the air without sleeping bags when we sleep on Mars.
