Hi! I’m Tony. I don’t like to get up early. In the morning, I get up eight. Then I go to school at eight thirty. I don’t have much time for breakfast, so I usually eat hamburgers. After school, I sometimes play basketball for half an hour. When I get home, I always do my homework first.

Language points
1.either...or... 要么..要么..；或者..或者..
1)连接句子中两个并列的成分，表示两者之一.做主语时，后面的谓语动词遵循就近原则。
eg:In the evening, I either watch TV or play computer games.
要么是你错了，要么是他错了。
Either you or he ____( be) wrong .
2).either 意为___ ，一般用于______句末，而且用逗号与前面的隔开。

2. lots of 与many, much的用法
这三个词都有“许多；大量”之意，但
用法不同。
1) lots of ，后面可以跟可数名词也可以跟
不可数名词。如：
He doesn’t have lots of (=many) books.
We have lots of (=much) work to do.
2) many与可数名词复数形式连用。如：
There are many apples in the basket.
篮子里有许多苹果。
3) much表示数量时，只能修饰不可数名词。如：
We don’t have much milk.
我没有很多牛奶了。

3. She knows it’s not good for her, but it tastes good! 她知道这对她(健康)不利，但它(指冰激凌)却很好吃。
1) be good for…表示“对……有益；
对……有好处”；be bad for…表示
“对……有害；对……有坏处”。如：
It’s good for our health to go to bed
early and get up early.
早睡早起对我们的健康有好处。
Don’t eat too much ice cream. It’s bad
for your health.

2)taste表示“吃上去；吃起来；品尝”，
与我们学过的That sounds good.和It
looks nice.中的sound和look的用法同
属一类，之后要用形容词。
其他表示感觉的系动词还有smell(闻起
来)和feel(摸上去)。如：
This fish smells delicious.
这条鱼闻起来真香。
Its skin feels really smooth.
它的皮摸起来真光滑。
