Tourism is a comprehensive social activity. During the process of a tour, the tourists’ needs can generally be divided into several aspects: eating, lodging, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment, etc. It is the tour guide’s basic duty to serve the tourists in eating, shopping and entertainment. Therefore a guide should be quite familiar with the features of and the tourists’ requests for eating, shopping and entertainment and keep in mind the rules to provide such service so as to meet the tourists’ needs.
