Step 1 Leading
Have a think:How many clothes do you know?Look at the pictures and say the clothes in English.Then show two pictures:a cold day and a hot day. What clothes do you wear for different weather Choose right clothes for a cold/hot day.
(设计意图:由想一想引出已经学过和即将要学的服饰,巩固基础词汇;再由不同天气的图片,引出选择合适服饰的观点。)
Step 2 Listening Task1:Listen and circle
Show the two pictures of Danny and his mother.Then ask the students the question:What does Danny like to wear Listen to the tape and circle the correct pictures.(Let’s Do It 1)
According to the tape,we know Danny likes to wear green T-shirt and shorts.But why does he wear a jacket

Task 2:Read and answer(Let’s Do It 2)

2.Does Danny like to wear shorts or pants 3.What does Danny finally wear to school 4.Where is Danny’s umbrella
The answers:
It’s raining.
He likes to wear shorts.
His jacket and shorts.
It’s in his school bag.

Step 4 Language points
be ready for 在这里意为”准备去”侧重状态;
look 在这里是系动词,意为“看起来”;
Cold 在这里用作名词,意为“感冒”,也可以说,have/get a cold.
go back,意为“回去”;
put on 意为:穿上,侧重动作,wear 和 in 表示“穿着、戴着”,侧重状态;
go well with,意为“与 很相配”
forget 意为“忘记”,forget to do sth.忘记做某事(未做);forget doing sth.忘记做了某事(已做)
