Learning Objectives Show the learning objectives of this lesson and students can have a better understanding of learning the new lesson. Lead in The teacher shares her embarrassing moment with the students. Tell students what is moment. Then lead in the topic. Think About It How do you feel if you meet an old friend and he or she can’t remember your name Have you ever gotten back in touch with an old friend Ask students to think about the two questions and let them know the background of
this lesson. IV.Know about the whole lesson 1.Listen to the tape and write true (T) or false (F). 1. When he tapped me on the arm and said my name, I couldn’t figure out who he was.

Run into means you meet somebody by accident. The river runs into the sea. 那条河流入大海。
②He tapped me on the shoulder and said my name.
③seemed familiar but I couldn’t remember his name.
Familiar means you know someone well. He is familiar with his brother.

How did Li Ming solve the problem
Read the third paragraph and tick the correct pictures.
Ask students to choose the correct pictures by reading the third paragraph carefully. By doing this task, students can make a conclusion about the results of the embarrassing moment.
