教学过程
Step 1 Lead-in Lead in by discussing the following questions: Do you have any dreams or interests What are they What would you like to do but feel afraid to try Discuss in groups for two minutes. Show two examples of students’ result of discussion. Then let some students present their answers in front of the class. Step 2 Words 1. Show new words on the PPT by using pictures and a short passage.
listen and read the words after the audiotape.
Give students three minutes to recite them.
Check the words.
Step 3 Listening
Listen by watching a small video and choose the correct answers.

dream of... 梦想……;梦见……可以和 dream about 互换,其后可以接名词代词或动名词。
Eg: They dreamed of travelling to foreign lands.

① take part in 是惯用词组,part 前一般不用冠词。但 part 前有形容词修饰时,要用不定冠词。
Eg. Bob took an active part in this activity.
② confident adj. 有信心的 confidence n. 信心,自信be confident of sth. 对...有信心
Eg. I am very confident of your brother.
