Activity 5:Review the important sentences in the book
First, let’s see a time table about trains. In the 1700s, many scientists worked on stream
engines. In the 1760s, a scientist found a way to put steam engines and wheels together. In 1804, The first train engine was born in England. In 1825, the first passenger railway opened. During the 1830s, countries all over the world started to build railways. Now the fastest train can go about 500 kilometres an hour.
Now let’s talk about transportation on the ground. About 200 years ago, the first car appeared. Now the roads are full of cars. Second, transportation on the water. Boats have been around for thousands of years. They can go very fast with engines now. Third, transportation in the sky. Over 100 years ago, people began to make flying machines. Today we travel a lot by plane. People can even travel to space in spaceships.

What kind of transportation will people use in the future
