In show business, well-known movie stars are rich and widely respected. For the rest of us, however, it’s a different story. Here is a typical day in a film studio.
My alarm clock went off at 5:20 am. Why did I have to get up so early Well, I had to arrive at the studio at 7 and it’s an hour’s drive away. The morning traffic was slow, but I got there on time. After I parked my car, an assistant director led me to the canteen for breakfast.
Before I even finished up my coffee, a costumer rushed in to measure me for a new blouse. Then, I headed to the makeup department. Forty minutes later, with a fresh look, I headed to the scene.
The director and some other actors were already there. I spoke with the director about the scene. I
found out that he had changed the lines that I had stayed up late the night before to remember. We rehearsed the scene several times. After that, the technicians had to set up the lights. While I waited for them, I tried to remember my new lines.
About twenty minutes later, I got to the scene again. “Action!” the director ordered. One of the other actors said her lines as she walked towards me. I started to say mine. “Cut!” the director said suddenly.
Did I do anything wrong No. One of the lights went out. The technicians repaired it as soon as possible.
Then, we started again from the beginning. Luckily, nothing went wrong this time.
Soon, it was time for lunch. In the afternoon, we shot one more scene. Finally, at 6 pm, I could go home.
There was no applause (掌声). This is a film studio, not a theater. But it’s a wonderful experience to make friends with other young actors. That’s why I love my job!
44.Why did the author have to get up at 5:20 am ________
A.Because she had to spend at least an hour remembering her lines.
B.Because she wanted to finish her breakfast before dressing up.
C.Because she was told by the director to be ready for shooting.
D.Because the film studio was far away from her home.
45.How many scenes did the author shoot that day ________
A.Only one. B.Two. C.Three. D.Four.
46.What do we know about the author ________
A.She believes she has got talent for acting.

You’ll need to create a password (密码) to do just about everything on the Web, such as checking your email, banking online, logging in WeChat and so on. And while it’s simpler to use a short, easy-to-remember password, this can also cause serious risks to your online safety. To protect yourself and your information, you’ll want to use passwords that are long, strong, and difficult for someone else to guess, while still keeping them easy for you to remember.
A strong password is one that’s easy for you to remember but difficult for others to guess. Let’s take a look at some of the most important things to think when setting (设置) a password. First, never use personal information such as your name, birthday, user’s name, or email address. This type of information is often publicly available (可获得的), which makes it easier for someone to guess your password. Second, use a longer password. Your passwords should be at least six characters (符号) long or even longer. Then, don’t use the same password for each account (账户). If someone discovers your password for one account, all of your other accounts will be in danger.
You can try to use numbers, symbols, and both capital (大写) and small letters . You have to avoid using words that can be found in the dictionary. Like “swimming”, it would be a weak password. So random (随机的) passwords are the strongest.
Instead of writing your passwords on paper like books or notebooks where someone might find them, you can use a password manager (a kind of App) to keep them safely online. Password managers can remember and enter your password on different websites. That means you won’t have to remember longer passwords. So it is a good and safe way to keep your passwords.
47.The underlined word “this” refers to ________.
A.checking your email B.banking online
C.logging in Wechat D.using a short and easy password
48.According to the passage, “________” is the strongest password.
A.20080618 B.Swimming C.Sywi2008! D.Betty!
49.The last paragraph is mainly about ________.
A.when to keep your passwords B.how to set safe passwords
C.when to remember passwords D.how to keep passwords safely
50.The purpose of this passage is mainly to ________.
A.encourage people to check emails
B.help people set and keep safe passwords
C.stop people from using their personal information
D.tell people the differences between easy and strong passwords

Straight or arched (弯的), thick or thin-eyebrows come in many shapes and sizes. But what are eyebrows even for They don’t keep us warm like our hair, or help us breathe like our noses. 56 Researchers from the University of York in the UK believe that eyebrows helped us communicate better when we were still evolving (进化).
Early humans had large brow ridges (肩骨) . This helped them show their strength. Later, as the human face evolved to become smaller and flatter (更扁平的), our eyebrows allowed us to express complex (复杂的) emotions, as well as better understand others’ emotions, The Guardian reported. 57 This is a sign that someone is willing to interact (互动) with others. While pulling our eyebrows up in the middle is an expression of sympathy (同情), Penny Spikins from York University told The Daily Telegraph. If you still find this hard to understand, just draw a simple face on a piece of paper and draw a line above the eyes. 58 You will find that it is very easy to show anger, fear or surprise on a face.
59 They can also protect our eyes. Their arched shape can help to move rain or sweat around to the sides of our faces, keeping our eyes dry, the BBC reported. Together with our eyelashes(眼睫毛), eyebrows can also help to keep dust and other things out of our eyes. 60 In that case, some researchers believe that we would have evolved same other facial feature to perform the same functions (功能) . That could make us look quite different.
