Lesson 22 Travel on the Internet
一、语篇研读
What：本课时的教学内容是冀教版八年级下册第四单元的第四课时，主要涉及互联网使用情况的介绍：
Why：简是在祖母的陪伴下长大的，她很爱她的祖母，有一天简收到一些坏消息，她的祖母得了一种很严重的癌症，这使简很难过。简的祖母曾经有一个周游世界的愿望，简想帮他实现这个愿望。于是就出现了本文所描述的情节。
How：本课主要涉及互联网使用情况的介绍。在授课之前，先让学生自己说一说，自己使用互联网的经验，也可以询问同学如何使用互联网的情况，课上可以通过让学生组合作的形式进行相互交流。然后教师通过幻灯片，图片向学生展示使用互联网的情况，并让学生用英语简单介绍自己是如何使用互联网的
二、教学目标
通过本课的学习，学生能够：
1.Students master the words ,phrase, main idea of each paragraph and the outline of the story.
2.Students can understand the outline of the whole story by listening, speaking, reading and writing.
3. Students use the Internet to do something meaningful.
4. Learn about the beautiful places all over the world and have a dream of visiting there.

Q2: look at this picture. Do you know it
Here we can see many people helped the family in need by the Internet.And the family has raised money 57705yuan so far.
Today let's learn people how to help Jane's grandma realize her dream by the Internet.

2. Listening activities

Read the paragraphs quickly and try to grasp the main idea of each paragraph.
(2) Detail reading
Read the passage and answer the four questions of “Let's Do It,No.1.”
[设计意图] 训练学生的阅读能力，有目的地阅读。
4. Language points
(1) Her grandma had a terrible type of cancer.
她的奶奶患上了一种很严重的癌症。
have cancer意为“患癌症”。have表示“患(病)，得(病)”，与catch和get同义。have是延续性动词，表示状态;catch和get是瞬间动词，表示动作，所 以这两个词不可跟一段时间连用。
She asked people if they could help her grandma see the world through pictures.
她问大家是否能够帮助奶奶通过图片看世界。
if在句中作连词，意为“是否”，引导宾语从句。
老师问人是否到齐了。 请告诉我你是否知道答案。
The teacher asked if everyone was here
Please tell me if you know the answer
(3) You have made my dream come true.
“使某人的梦想成真”。
“实现，成真;应验”。
例如:他的理想迟早会实现。His dream will come true sooner or later.
我希望我们的梦想成真。 I hope our dreams will come true.
(4) have a dream of doing sth.
Eg. I have a dream of making plenty of money.
She used to to have a dream of being the monkey king.
(5) realize one's dream=make one's dream come true
[设计意图] 通过讲解，让学生对新知识点掌握得更扎实，对课文的理解更透彻。在突破重难点的同时，始终要以学生为主体。

Work in groups to draw a picture to help Jane's grandma realize her dream and say what you would say to her.
3.根据汉语提示补全句子
