（1）with “与，和，同，跟”等，作谓语动词的伴随状语。

（2）with “（表带有或拥有）有.......”。
eg. We have a house with a garden. 我们有一座带花园的房子。
China is a very large country with a long history. 中国是一个具有悠久历史的大国。
（3）with “（表方式、手段或工具）以，用”。
eg. She writes letters with a pencil.
比较：and 是并列连词，当连接两个主语时表示复数，谓语用复数形式；
而with 是介词，若接在主语之后+名/代词，表示从属关系，不作主语，
谓语与with前面的主语保存数的一致。
eg. Lucy with her mother often goes shopping.
