"I'm going to school today!” announced my little brother, Trevor, bouncing to the breakfast table.
Mom looked at me. "Isn't it great, Annie You'll both be at the same school! And I can't help remembering your first day to school when I had to calm you down by blowing kisses.”
Actually, it was not great at all. School used to feel like my thing. But now he would sit in my old classroom, with my old teacher. Enough! I hated to see the naughty Trevor as part of my school life.
As we arrived at the school gate, Trevor turned to me and asked whether he could play with me during the break, worried and hesitant. I shook my head and reminded him of the school rules: You small kids play in the kindergarten area. I stay on the big playground!

Trevor nodded and let go of my hand. I disappeared in a flash, excited to join my friends. When the bell rang, I was given a seat by an open window where I could see the kindergarten room if I looked outside. I faced forward, trying to focus on what the teacher was saying. During the break, I forgot all about Trevor. It was great to be back at school! I was running to the slide （滑梯）when a loud cry rang out across the playground. It sounded familiar.
I looked to the kindergarten area. There was Trevor sitting in the sandbox, tears on his face.
“I want to go home!” he howled. Mrs. Morena was talking to him, but he was still crying.
I took another step toward the slide. Then Trevor cried again. My feet turned, and I was running toward him. But there was a fence between the kindergarten area and the big playground, and I couldn't go where he was.

是否关注到原文中的这些伏笔关系到续写文本的情节能否成为一个完整的故事链，很大程度上影响着续写文本质量的高低。
伏笔1---原文提到了我的朋友跟我一起玩的场景，那么下文续写时也可以写我的朋友用了我使用的方法一起安抚弟弟。这也正是原著续写的情节。
伏笔2---原文当中我和弟弟活动的区域之间有个栅栏，那么在续写最后我跟弟弟之间的关系更近了，我们之间无形的隔阂消除了，这可以与真正存在的栅栏进行对比。
伏笔3---原文中妈妈问我跟弟弟在一个学校是不是很棒的时候，我最初的想法是否定的。续写时可以对应写我思想的转变或者我现在积极的想法。
发现了这些伏笔后，大家果然思如泉涌。伏笔不仅可以让情节与原文更贴切，还能帮助大家创造出与原文融为一体的结尾。

Then, I did the best thing I could think of. Running to the fence and my claws clutching the net, I shouted at the top of my lungs, “Trevor, just take it easy. When the school is over, I will take you home, Ok ” At this, Trevor's howling came to a halt and his teary face broke into a huge grin. “Yeah. Thank you, Annie.” Wiping his tears away, this normally naughty boy suddenly turned into a heartwarming and thoughtful angel. Patting dust off his pants, Trevor locked his hands with Mrs. Morena's and the two vanished into the kindergarten area. Seeing this, I heaved a heavy sigh of relief.
Soon the bell rang and the school was over. Dashing to the kindergarten gate, I could glimpse, at a distance, that Trevor talked and cackled with his newly-made friends. It seemed his previous grievances and unpleasant feelings all evaporated, replaced by pure joy and fresh excitement. “Hi, naughty, are you feeling better ” greeted I. Bidding his friends goodbye, Trevor beamed and answered, “Couldn't be better and thank you, Annie, for comforting me at the fence. Actually, I feel safe at the thought of your presence.” In a flash, guilt and shame permeated my heart for being so mean to Trevor. And of course, from now on, I would integrate him into my school life, even though his presence means to me a sweet burden.
