Module 4 Life in the future
模块整体分析
一、模块内容分析
本模块主题属于“人与社会”范畴，涉及“科技改变生活”。本模块以学生比较感兴趣的“未来生活”为话题，并且围绕未来学校和未来生活这一话题开展听、说、读、写的全面训练。以未来学校的教室及学习为切入点，涉及有关未来生活的衣、食、住、行等各方面的子话题。通过想象导入一般将来时，让学生在整个过程中轻松学习，掌握一般将来时“will＋动词原形”的结构，这样既能使语言的学习与学生能力的培养相结合，又有利于激发学生的学习动机，有利于教学活动的开展。
Unit 1以培养学生的听说能力为主，兼顾读写，包括词汇、语法、语音等内容的学习。本课主要涉及一些关于未来教室和学习方式的名词，通过让学生想象并描述未来学校的样子，学习和掌握一般将来时。
Unit 2侧重对学生读写能力的培养，从未来的生活这个角度出发，介绍了天气、服装、旅行和工作四个方面的变化。围绕未来生活的这四个方面而展开的阅读活动，引导学生畅想未来的美好生活。同时可以创设语境帮助学生操练目标词汇。学生们不仅能畅想美好的未来生活，也能开阔眼界，增进学生对未来生活的憧憬以及为美好生活而好好学习的人生目标。
Unit 3从听、说、读、写各方面对本模块的语言点进行练习，全面培养学生综合运用语言的能力。要求学生能够掌握一般将来时“will＋动词原形”结构的用法。
二、模块教学目标
1．能听懂谈论未来的简短对话，并运用目标语言谈论未来。
2．能读懂谈论未来的短文，掌握短文大意，理解语篇的主旨和细节。
3．能用will表达自己对未来的预测和想象，并用so来表达复杂的句式。
4．通过对未来美好的憧憬，培养积极乐观的精神。
三、模块重难点
1．重点：
(1)掌握本模块的词汇和句式。
(2)掌握一般将来时的意义和“will＋动词原形”结构的用法。
(3)掌握含有will的一般将来时的肯定句、否定句及疑问句结构。
2．难点：
(1)熟练运用一般将来时“will＋动词原形”结构描述理想的未来生活。
(2)培养阅读理解能力和语言运用能力。

三、学情分析：
本模块以预测未来的生活为话题。第一单元主要谈论未来的学校教、学生活。练习含有“will”的一般将来时。目前，我国很多农村学校，电脑和网络基本普及，但是小班化的现代化教学并不多见，可以带领学生参观。利用目标词汇，比较未来教室与现在教室的不同未来的教室，并以此展开联想，丰富图片内容和词汇。七年级学生已有一定的英语语言基础和语言功能。在日常生活中，高科技产品日益普及，校园的基础设施不断升级，本篇文章的话题激发学生的学习兴趣，学生可以展开思维对未来校园生活进行畅想，锻炼学生听说能力。
