两者之间进行比较时，句中的形容词或副词要用比较级形式。
Language points
I am stronger than you.
than意为“比……”，而stronger是形容词的比较级，意为“更强壮的”。
句型结构：Sb./Sth + be + 形容词或副词比较级 +
than + sb./sth.
形容词或副词比较级的构成规则如下：
①一般在词尾直接加er
old-older fast-faster
②以不发音的字母e结尾的动词，直接在词尾加r
late-later
③以“辅音字母+y”结尾的双音节词，先变y为i，再加er
early-earlier
④以重读闭音节结尾且末尾只有一个辅音字母的词，先双写末尾的辅音字母，再加er
big-bigger
单音节以及部分双音节词大致按以下规律变化：
形容词或副词比较级的构成规则如下：
多音节词以及某些双音节词变为比较级时，
通常在其前面加more：
beautiful-more beautiful useful-more useful
少数词变化比较级是不规则的
