(三) 重难点讲解：
1.They help with the housework and do jobs like working in dirty or dangerous places.他们帮忙做家务，并且在脏和危险的地方工作。
(1)help sb.with sth.=help sb.do/ to do sth.意为“帮助（某人）做某事”。
例如：He often helps his mother with the housework.他经常帮助他妈妈做家务。
(2)dangerous意为“危险的”，其名词是danger,反义词是safe“安全的”。
例如：The children are in a dangerous place.孩子们正处在危险的地方。
2.However,they agree it may take hundreds of years.然而，他们认为这可能会花费数百年的时间。
(1)take在句中意为“花费”，常用于花费时间，主语是人或物均可，后常加动词不定式。
It takes(sb.)some time to do sth.意为“花费(某人)多长时间做某事”。
例如：It takes me half an hour to get to school by bike.骑自行车去学校花了我半个小时。
【辨析】take/spend
take意为“花费”，常用于花费“时间”，主语是人或物均可，常与动词不定式连用。
例如：Keeping pets may take time and cost money.养宠物可能费时又费钱。
It takes an hour to go to work.去上班花了我1个小时。
I'm going to take a few days to relax.我打算休息几天。
spend意为“花费；度过”，常用于花费“时间或金钱”，主语是人，常与.-ing连用或后接介词on,即：
sb. spend some time/some money (in)doing sth.
sb. spend some time/some money on sth.
例如：Don't spend too much time on games.不要在游戏上花太多时间。
