Technically, the metallic material through which electric current flows is called a conductor. In practical terms, most people call it wire.
There are three different styles of wire. Bare wire is just what the name states, non insulated. Insulated solid wire is a solid piece of wire that is coated and encased in a plastic coating. The last is insulated stranded wire. This has many smaller sized strands of copper and is also wrapped in a protective plastic coating.

How to Solder.
First a few safety precautions（预防）:
Never touch the element（原件）or tip（尖端）of the soldering iron.
Take great care to avoid touching（避免接触）the mains flex（皮线）with the tip of the iron.
Always return the soldering iron to its stand（台座）when not in use.
Work in a well-ventilated area（通风良好区域）.
Wash your hands after using solder.
Preparing the soldering iron:
Place the soldering iron in its stand and plug in（接通电源）.
Dampen the sponge（润湿海绵）in the stand.
Wait a few minutes for the soldering iron to warm up（变热）.
