教学设计
I .教学内容
Using Language ( Write an art exhibition announcement )
II .课时目标
学生通过本课时的学习,能够:
通过阅读主题展览推介文,厘清该种应用文的框架结构与必要组成信息,把握该语篇类型的典型特征。
通过完成宣传页文本的写作,了解主题展览推介文和展览宣传页这两种应用文体的区别。
选择一个艺术主题,撰写一则简短的展览公告。
对同伴所写的展览公告进行评价并提出修改意见,同时反思同伴对自己作品的评价与建议,继续完善作品。
III . 教学思路
本课时为过程性写作,以读促写,让学生从多个维度分析语篇,给学生搭建可以模仿的结构、内容和语言等脚手架。学生通过小组讨论确定好写作主题后,根据前面活动所提供的思维导图和结构大纲完成初稿,然后通过同伴互评修改初稿,最后将定稿作品在班里分享。 IV .教学过程
Activity 1: Answer some warm - up questions before reading .
Recall any past experience of enjoying an art exhibition by asking yourselves :
●Have you visited an art exhibition before
●What was the exhibition about What were on display
●Where did you get the information about the exhibition
设计说明:本活动为读前的热身活动,旨在激活学生在相关主题语境中的过往体验和背景知识。
Activity 2: Read for basic information in an exhibition announcement .
Look at the title , pictures , and the format of the passage . Make predictions by discussing the following questions .
●What is the theme of this exhibition
●What will be on display
●Where are you likely to read this passage
Read the first paragraph to check your prediction and find out for whom this passage was written .
Read the text to work out the diagram showing the text structure .
Read the text again and complete the advertising leaflet in Activity 2 on page 9.
Check the answers .

Activity 3: Discuss the structure of an exhibition announcement .
Read the rubrics in Activity 3.
Review all the necessary information about an exhibition and the trip .
Classify all the questions using the structure of the reading passage .

设计说明:让学生将书上提供的要点进行分类整理,把握每个部分应该包括的主要内容,目的是帮助学生明确写作要求,掌握展览公告的整体框架和特点。
Activity 4: Write an art exhibition announcement .
Read the checklist in Activity 4 on page 9.2. Basing on the structure of the reading passage , start to write an announcement about a trip to the new exhibition ," From Shang to Qing : Chinese Art Through the Ages ."
设计说明:本活动旨在让学生基于阅读语篇的结构和内容,完成初稿,同时让学生在写之前了解评价标准,关注写作要求,提高写作质量。 Activity 5: Evaluate the draft .
Exchange drafts and use the checklist to give feedback on each other ' s draft .
Leave your notes like circles , question marks , and new thoughts in the margin . These are what you may advise your partner to change , add , or reconsider .
Comment on a partner ' s draft before the whole class .
设计说明:同伴互评为过程性写作的重要环节,旨在让学生结合评价标准,完成对同伴习作的反思和反馈,从而进一步完善各自的习作,同时提高评价和表达能力。
Assignment
Revise the draft and put up the announcement in the classroom .
Read through the Project section on page 11. In groups , discuss and choose a famous artist and search the Internet for the information about him or her .
设计说明:让学生根据同伴的反馈意见修改自己的初稿,然后将定稿作品张贴在班级墙报上。这样一方面为学生提供了展示作品的平台,调动学生的参与积极性,增强学生的自信,另一方面让学生在欣赏他人习作的过程中可以相互学习,借鉴好的写作思路,积累相关表达,不断提高写作水平。让学生浏览本单元项目活动的要求,以小组为单位,提前上网搜集相关艺术家的资料,为下一课时完成访谈作准备。
