I .教学内容
Assessing Your Progress +* Project
II .课时目标
学生通过本课时的学习,能够:
通过完成语言知识部分的检测活动,了解自己对于本单元话题词汇和语法结构的掌握情况。
通过回答反思部分的问题,反思和评价自己对于本单元内容的学习效果。
通过小组合作,运用本单元所学的语言、文化、结构等多方面的知识,创造性地完成单元的终结性评价活动﹣﹣做艺术家访谈秀。 III .教学思路
学生先完成 Assessing Your Progress 板块的语言知识检测活动,然后聚焦反思部分的问题,通过自我反思和小组交流,完成对于单元学习效果的评价,相互促进和学习。在 Project 部分,学生以小组为单位,先对课前准备的资料进行筛选,接着根据所搜集的资料拟定采访问题,然后组内进行彩排,最后进行小组展示,并投票选出最佳小组。 IV .教学过程
Activity 1: Assess the ability of using new words and structures .
Finish Activity 1 on page 10 and check the answers .
Complete the sentences with your own ideas in Activity 2. Then swap ideas in the group to check answers and brainstorm more ideas .
Prepare a short presentation in the following situation by linking at least four sentences from Activity 1 and Activity 2. Use the techniques of giving a presentation in this unit .
Situation : Suppose you are applying for a job at a local gallery as a volunteer commentator . Please briefly introduce yourself and explain your reasons for applying and your understanding of art economy .
Give a presentation to the class .
设计说明:让学生用方框中单词的适当形式完成句子填空,以及使用不定式作表语的语法结构将句子补充完整,目的是考查学生灵活运用本单元词汇和目标结构的能力。让学生在教师设计的具体语境中,创造性地运用所学语言完成一个简短的自我介绍,主要是为了引导学生进一步运用所学语言进行表达。
Activity 2: Reflect what you have learnt from the unit .

Take turns to share your reflections in the group .
Share your reflections with the class .
设计说明:让学生利用反思部分的问题,反思本单元的学习效果,然后在组内分享自己的学习经验,提出建议,相互学习,目的是引导学生学会自我反思和评价学习过程,同时教师可根据学生反馈及时调整教学策略。
Activity 3: Sort out the information .
Read the project task again .
Take turns to tell the group what information you have found , what difficulty you might have , and seek advice from the rest of the group .
设计说明:让学生将课前所查阅的资料带到课堂上,组内分享讨论,目的是引导学生及时发现前期准备中存在的问题或困难,并尝试在小组中解决,为后面课堂上执行该项目活动做好准备。
Activity 4: Brainstorm interview questions .
Brainstorm specific questions for each interviewee and design a question list .

Activity 5: Rehearse the show.
Read the notes for doing the talk show in Activity 4 on page 11 and discuss other notes for a successful show.
Rehearse the show and pay attention to different role ' s characteristics .设计说明:让学生浏览访谈的相关注意事项,组内进行彩排;在彩排的过程中,成员之间可以进一步完善采访问题以及角色扮演者的动作、姿势等非语言要素。
