My Favorite Extracurricular Activity
The preference for extracurricular activities, as we know, varies from person to person, and my favorite is practicing calligraphy. Added to the World Intangible Heritage list, calligraphy has a long history.
Years of calligraphy training have brought me obvious benefits. For one thing, practicing calligraphy cultivates my patience and observation ability, which in turn can be transferred to my study and benefit me a lot. For another, practicing calligraphy relieves my stress while studying and pushes me to make use of fragment time, making it more efficient for me to study.
Briefly speaking, not only has practicing calligraphy balanced my study and play, it has also strengthened my confidence, killing two birds with one stone! (115 words)

An Unforgettable Activity in High School
As high school students about to graduate,we have exposed ourselves to many brilliant and interesting activities, of which the most memorable one for me is the coming-of-age ceremony.
Present at the ceremony were all the senior three students as well as our teachers and parents. The big event began with the address delivered by our principal, followed by wishes from representatives of parents and teachers. Then came the adult oath from all students under the leadership of the president of the Student Union. The ceremony ended up with the students’ passing the adult gate, and giving a high five to their school leaders.

The Internet in my life
The Internet, as we all know, plays a significant role in our life. It really matters to me as well.

The internet is a good servant, but a bad master. The negative effects it brings, such as cyberbullying and game addiction, are also obvious.
